Are you looking at any 0% on purchase cards? Ones with rewards can actually work out better than 0% BT with no fee. |

I could easily make a website for the specific purpose of charging reward debit cards. Allow people to create an account, input debit cards, have it randomly charge between 1 and 20 cents 10 times per month, send email notifications and be fully automated... ....could be a useful site, call it chargemydebitcard.com or something... |

The site seems to be aimed (either intentionally or inadvertantly) at solving debit transaction requirements with no effort - something alot of people here have be searching for for years. If the creator is a FW reader, or if it is merely coincidence, the site does appear to be filling a niche (even if you are not part of that niche).
And if you read MikeR397's other threads over the years, he ALWAYS shamelessly pimps the latest opportunity he's found, so I'm not going to jump to the conclusion that its his own site just because he showed some enthusiasm.
I'm not interested in anyone's opinion of the merits of the concept (and I dont think anyone else is, either), everyone has their own prefered methods of meeting requirements; I'm interested in hearing if anyone finds it to be defective or unreliable, or if it really does work as advertised.

I think the site is a great idea, but with 5 seconds of research one can pretty easily make a sound assumption that it is his site. A little disclaimer would be nice. Although, I'm pretty sure the rest of the community has covered it by now. |

BOA site isn't showing a cap on the BT fee. I only see $10/min. Am I missing it? |

Is penfed not in your list? They don't have a zero % APR, but they do have 2.99% for life, which gives it about 5 years to pay off. If inflation goes up, rates will increase in next 5 years for sure (until then you can probably break even at 4.2 / 4.3 % HY CD, if they exist.. assuming 30% tax rate). |

1. close the Chase Bus-- it doesn't even show on your personal credit reports (to improve utiliztion), and it might prevent you from getting a good line on a new Chase personal 0%. you have ZERO chance of getting Chase to move that line under there current policies. 2. do NOT close the National City! You can call to move NCity CLs between cards if approved. They'll send you out a letter to sign asking for the CL move and you send it back and they make the change. 3. Barclay's is the same-- apply for a personal card along with the Bank Atlantic Biz Card, and they'll let you move. In my experience, they generally will give a bit more CL on the personal side, and they don't ding you for applying for both products. 4. I think Citi and Chase are more sensitive to "seeing" other recent AOR inquiries, so probably better having these toward the front of your AOR list. |

The link has now been updated: BOA $30 capped 0% 12 month BT offer. https://www4.bankofamerica.com/creditcards/application/process.a... Be careful with this one, I think its the very last BOA capped fee out there. |

Rob Last time I bumped I used: 1. Chase IDProtectiont: https://www.chaseidprotection.com/ 2. AMEX Credit Secure: https://www124.americanexpress.com/cards/loyalty.do?page=credits... 3. CreditKarma (for TU only, but free): http://www.creditkarma.com/ AMEX Credit Secure (need a AMEX card) is my favorite b/c you can update your report anytime during the next day, and don't have that 24 hours + 1 minute rule. I think it cots about $11 per month, same with Chase. Its been about 10 months since I've done bumpage, can anyone provide info that these services will no longer b*? |

I know Wamu used to have the most of these types of offers before they merged with Chase. |

AFAIK, Chase IDP no longer allows daily pulls and you can only get a new report once every 30 days unfortunately. |

When I click that link it takes me to a page with 3 cards featured. I read the terms of all 3 and they all say 3%, nothing about a cap unless I am missing it. How do you find the capped offer? |

Terrific idea, the infodailynews.com and a convenient service. Effcient for those of us with multiple reward accounts, takes just a few moments to meet your monthly requirements. |

Chase ID protetion is no more a daily puller. it became every 90 days per pull for me. AMEX CS credit check total Nationalcity id protect still work. I checked it twice this morning and it linked to the individual card. Maybe the session info dies or something. I don't know what to tell you now, as my link is also going to the three cards. FWF effect? I'll update the link if I find a new one. |

I think the Bank of America "capped fee" initial BT offers are gone. I looked all over - couldn't find one. Best BoA I could find was 0% for 12 months with 3% uncapped fee. My current BoA cards BT offers are fee-capped at $75 - but at 4.99%! No good. They're shutting things down several months before the new law hits. |

Red for you.I look for functionality in my financial products, not "bling". If it's reliable and does what it says it will, I'd consider it as a worthwhile alternative to typing in numerous $1 payments on my cable bill each month.
swagatalakshmi said:$1 /day = $365/year. $15,000 @2.25% interest (ally bank CD rate) will yield the subscription fee . I get more smart investment ideas from fatwallet for fee.FYI, finding ways to manufacture 10 $1 "throw-away" transactions per month has been core to the rewards checking discussion ever since that type of account first appeared here a couple years ago; finding options that recur automatically has been the challenge.
Spending $10 (typical required transactions are 10/month) to earn an extra $60 ($50k in a 4% rewards account, verses in a 2% CD) IS one of those "smart investment ideas (you can get) from fatwallet for f(r)ee". eBay will work. Make a manual payment of $1.00 you can do like 3 one day then you have to wait a couple days. |
