Ones with rewards can actually work out better than 0% BT with no fee.Well, I have other use for cards to make purchases on, but do you have any suggestions at 0% on purchase cards I could apply for? I know Wamu used to have the most of these types of offers before they merged with Chase.Citi, BOA and Chase all have 0% on purchases. Just use their card selector and see if there are any you like.

....could be a useful site, call it chargemydebitcard.com or something...

This would likely result in the beginning of the END of Reward Checking accounts.

Or, as I hope, just the closure of the rewards account of those who do this.

Like it's much different than making ten $1 bogus purchases.

I am curious also how successful Bumpage is these days... Is it still get as many soft pulls on in a 30 day period?

Interesting idea with the auto charges... Although I can see widespread use killing the golden goose.

But it would be cool to not have to take over 3 self checkouts at once every month... But alas, $10 per HYC is far too wasteful for me, but thanks for the idea. I bet there are a variety of ways to set it up.

Does this card report to the Citi Business or Citi Personal side? I thought Personal but I could be wrong...

If by "report", you mean to the credit bureaus, it shows on your personal credit reports.

USBank uses the ICS/ARS report for applications per address in the past 24 months. As you mentioned, they may be difficult to net an approval.

The 15 month BankAtlantic/Barclays biz card offer is now history (replaced by the 13 month which you already linked).

I second Teammjs comment regarding the CHASE biz line... close it down or reduce the line prior to applying for the Disney.

My family's US Bank denials in the past have been because of "too little debt" showing as compared to the income I stated. US Bank has told us, on two different AOR's that they will ask for income verification if your total debt to income is not around 25% as showing on your credit report. My parents, who have a mortgage, are likely close to this amount, and have always received $25k US Bank lines. My sister and I, who usually have near $0 of debt showing when we apply for AOR cards, usually are asked for proof of income, and even though they ask for HHI on the APP or over the phone, seem to want individual income. I provided income proof for myself once, but later got a denial letter for inquiries, go figure. So, I was frustrated with them and didn't bother sending in the docs for my sister, who was then denied. Therefore, my plan now is to apply to US Bank for my sister right now, while here BOA balance is the only line reporting at $11.3k on a $14.4k line. I'll even ask for a BT be sent to the BOA card (then later call and cancel it if she's approved). For the rest of the card apps, I think I'll wait until her CRA's show $0 balances, which I still think is safer than having a ~80% utilization out there. Thoughts?

As for the Chase Business line, while the current offers are dead, I HATE the thought of closing sisters $21k business line and Dad's $50k business line which don't report to personal CRA. I am not even sure that Chase bases your personal credit as based upon the amount of business credit you have. My sister has $0 chase personal credit I think, but Dad has a $20k Chase personal card currently. For Dad, I am hoping that I can get Chase to match BOA in the personal card area on his new Disney (or options express) card and take the CL to $100k, while keeping the $50k business line (which has had two or three "purchases" each amounting to $49k within the last 9 months).

Application Strategy:

A strategy I use, which appears in my own expirments and in my observations of others to work very well to get larger CL's, is to request large BT's on the apps of some issuers. This does not seem to make a big difference at Citi, Chase, BOA, but does seem to make a big difference at National City, Juniper/Barclays, Fifth Third, and back in the day, Wamu. It seems like the general trend with the smaller issuers is grant approvals to cover your requested BT. May not work as well in this credit enviornment, but I'm going to give it a shot.

If you have a HELOC with a 16 digit debit card, you can BT to your HELOC on the app, for $25k+ on lots of cards . I think this is the tactic that allowed my dad to get almost $500k of useable BT balances during AOR 1.0 (really wish Dad hadn't taken AOR 2.0 off, but he's back on board for AOR 3.0).

If you ask for a BT on an app to a different cc, even one without a balance, you can most often call in and cancel the BT request after you are approved for the high line and then use the checks or whatever. But, keep in mind that sometimes you may be too late to cancle the BT request and the BT might actually be sent, so plan accordingly.

Unless readers of this thread object to this notion, I'm planning on starting a new AOR thread for my other family members as well, at least for my Dad, who is planning on firing off an AOR about the same time as my sister. My mom and I, if I decide to create threads for us, won't be for another month or two.

I noticed in my AOR 2.0 thread that with 4 peoples current cards/planned apps and status updates, things got to be unruly and difficult for me to update. I also think the focus of the individual's AOR was lost in the sea of information.

While I do like the idea of having the whole nuclear approach within one thread, I'm just going to provide links to my other current AOR's within the seperate topics. I shouldn't have more than 2 live AOR threads at the same time anyway.

My Dad, who probably has something like $500k (I'll have to check how AA affected this) of existing credit, will have a very different AOR profile/strategy than my sister, and I find that FWF readers' comments and posts are exceptionally helpful, especially when they are not distracted by the hodge podge of multi-member info.

Finally, this tactic allows me to more fully discuss individual strategy I'm using for each person, in which other AOR'ers can tailor to thier own uses (like my US Bank comment about sister's strategy vs Dad's strategy with Chase Business, ect).

Sister was denied for US Bank when she was showing her BOA debt, although I don't know the exact reason yet. They pulled TU, so inquiries should not be the problem. I'm waiting for the letter and also for BOA balance to drop off her report before firing the rest of the apps, as I don't want the risk of denials based on a single highly utilized card. Patience grasshopper.

I'm going to start a seperate thread for my dad now as well, I'll link both threads.

Here is the link to the $30 cap BOA NEA card. You still can try the call-in FAATCY thing for the no fee card.

I with this thread would get stickied since it will save everyone a lot of time.

Thanks, sorry I should have been more specific. I have the professional link, but I need to find a personal card at 0% for 12 months in order to utilize personal credit at Citi, as consolidation betweeen Professional and Personal Citi Cards is near impossible.

Are there any Discover cards that offer 0% BT offers anymore?

I got a preapproved solicited offer from US Bank for a Visa CC 0% no BT fee. They gave me a 25K CL.

Do you guys know of anyway I can get that CL in a high interest savings account? Unlike Citi, they don't give you a check for the CL. I can only use the BTs for paying off other CCs.
TIA
