Do you need the link?Yes, spoon please. I'm not sure what you mean dispute via the backdoor. Like I said, I'm pretty sure her balance is reporting at $0, but I just need to verify it. I can also just sign up for the free Citi report service, then cancel in 30 days was what I was planning on doing. |

Here's some info regarding Citi Bus that might be helpful. Last year when I did an aor Citi Bus waited a day and did a delayed pull and then denied me for too many inquiries. It was going to be a key application in my aor, I already had 1 Citi Bus card with a 40K line that I was going to close and was going to move the old line over to the new card. I don't know if this has been discussed before but you might consider applying for the Citi Bus card 1 day before the other apps if it is one of the key cards in your aor, or do you already have a strategy for this application? |

For the Citi Professional Card, I signed up my parents. I can't cuz I already have this card from a while back. Instant approval, unfortunately only 5500, and 4500 CL was given. Would they give a CL increase upon request? For me, personally, they have not granted that request in the past. They would always say only after several months of history. I'm sure I'll get the same answer when my parents request for the CL increase. |

Are you saying that you cannot have two Professionals? I thought I read that people have had two different Professionals before. Do they come in MC and Visa flavors, does that make a difference? |

Apologies for trolling, but I can't find any FW posts from people who have actually initiated an AOR within the past 2 months or so. (The SIS main thread doesn't have a link to any 2009 posts?) I planned to do a Mom-O-Rama (1.0) this week, but I've never been the guy to run first into enemy fire. Unless I can pull in >$40k of capped 0% I'm not bothering, and that credit will have to all be *new*, as she doesn't have large extant lines to move around (except, of course, with $&%*ing Chase), just a great credit history and HHI. She's employed as an independent contractor with the Feds (for 15 years) and takes home low 6 figures herself, so that makes me slightly optimistic about biz lines. As for Mike's Q re: Discover, I've only found uncapped 3% offers, after a fair amount of searching. But then, I didn't find Chase Disney until looking at your post, so my research may not mean much. Have I missed someone's recent AOR venture? I see a lot of posts from people declaring that they're staying on the side-lines - which I agree with SIS is like pulling yourself of the field in a soccer match, not just coming to the line of a basketball game. (That is, I don't think this gets any easier as time goes on.) |

If there are threads out there, they are seldom documented very well. |

But I don't think the other Professional "flavors" will offer the 0%APR with no BT fee. I haven't looked but I maybe wrong. On a good note... my mothers application for the Linux Visa w/ US Bank was rejected last week. She received a rejection letter in the mail. But today she got the card in the mail with a CL of 15K! I thought that was very strange that she was rejected and then received the card a week later. Weird. But we're happy |

Every link in this thread for a decent BofA card is dead and goes back to their homepage. Looks like the ONLY way I can get a card with them for BT is to pay an uncapped fee. That is BS!!! |

| Did sister apply for a USBank card on 8/8/2009? In QS it says the app is deferred. The edited date of your QS post is July .... shouldn't the edit date be August? |

The edited date of your QS post is July .... shouldn't the edit date be August?Just updated it to make it more clear. She was denied from US Bank b/c they pulled her ICS report, which is a current storage facility of triple digits of inquiries for our address. I'm purposefully stalling on her AOR at the moment. We are dealing with some AA at Citi I need to figure out first, before she goes bombs away. Hopefully I can figure out the plan soon, waiting is as much of a PITA for me as it is for anyone reading . Whats worse, I have to start my last year of law school later this week and sis goes back to school in a month too, so this will be a PITA regardless. |

Crap. Both sister and dad were denied for Citi, "credit privileges restricted" reason. So the blacklist continues, even after 1 year. I'm not the the only one in this boat here at FWF, be careful with Citi. This is true despite Sis has $25k open old cash returns and $12k Professional and Dad has open $20k old cash returns. They refuse to approve any new cards, and admit thier credit is perfectly fine now. Blacklisted sucks. |

opening and closing too many cards???They did it right before AOR 2.0, when all four family members had lots of AOR balances with Citi. They may have pulled ICS, or noticed the address inquiries. IMO, they shouldn't be aggregating family use like that, but even individually there was a lot of balances. Read my AOR 2.0 thread (linked in OP) if you want more details on it. It was nothing more than having 2-3 cards per person in my family with balances. No stupid mistakes or anything like that. Like I said, I'm not the only one this has happened to. I know of at least 5 others. Don't push Citi too much, and on that note, I don't think buying presidential coins is a good idea, as thats often the trigger for a manual review. The bank fears money laundering, takes a hard look at the account, realizes you are not a profitable customer at all, and closes all your accounts as the result of a "security investigation." Avoid the manual review at all costs. ETA: Don't create negative balances, thats another manual review trigger. |

opening and closing too many cards???something like that. It's my guess that Citi has an algorythm monitoring clients that open and close cards merely for points/miles/other promotions... after 6 or so I suspect they catch on and say, "ok.... you can keep a card with us (a solid meal) but we're halting all fattening foods (no new cards)." |

Thanks for the background info on the Citi denials. I'll be starting to organize and will post a small AOR this weekend, hopefully in the 5-9 card range, and Citi is the key one I'm hoping to get, 1 personal and 1 biz, so far Citi has never taken AA against me. That's really bad news if the BOA 0% 12 mo, $30 max BT fee is dead. |

One more thing, what the heck is an "ICS" its been mentioned several times in this thread? I mean I thought there were only 3 credit places transunion, experian, Equifax. Now all the sudden we all have a 4th thing to worry about?? How does one check their ICS report? Sorry for all the dumb questions. |
