Do you introduce her as "My future ex-wife"?

I thought inheritances were separate property, even in community property states.

I would spend all that you can on hookers and blow while the money is still yours to spend.I have a friend who represented a gentleman... actually he was a 32yo asian rastafarian... who inherited about $100,000,000 from his father, the founder of a well-known franchised restaurant in their home country. the dad's dying words to his son were: "SPEND IT ALL AS FAST AS YOU CAN, SO THAT THAT B7TCH WIFE OF YOURS WON'T SEE A PENNY."

and spend it he did. I typed out one of the more hilarious stories... but they're too one-of-a-kind and I got paranoid so I deleted them.

Does she know of the impending divorce? Is this her idea or yours or mutual? The element of surprise can be a big but divorces where the husband and wife go behind each others back to protect their assets or self interests are what make people bitter from divorces.

I would love to hear how someone spends $100M in a matter of weeks. Especially the videos if it includes high end hookers.

thats what PMs are for.

BTW one strategy not mentioned thus far is to establish residency , while still married, in a country which favors the man. I would imagine men dont get screwed as bad anywhere in latin america, asia or the middle east.

If she made the money and you wanted a divorce you would be on here asking "How do I protect my half?"

amazing a sucessful lawyer with ALOT told me, if I only just gave my wife everything I had and started from zero I would have been better off. While this may only work for high earners like himself there is some truth to this advise.

Richard Pryor did it in Brewster's Millions.

Would be easy enough to buy something like gold coins or bullion and then store it someplace well hidden for use after the divorce. Or just keep it in a foreign bank account (?? on that one).

Be careful there is a paper trail on about anything you try to hide. If your spouse suspects something her attorney will hire a forensic accountant. In CA you are subject to pergery charges if you not list all assets. Even worse if the case is brought before a judge to decide division of propert etc, the judge will screw you if you are found to have lied. Retirement, hmm, do not see any scenario where spouse would not start getting your retirement (a percentage of it based on number of years you married while under that retirement system). She can actually start drawing it even before you actually retire as most states family codes allow you to start drawing when you become eligable for retirement. This retirement income will be on top of any alimony(spousal support) if any.

He only did 30M in one month. 100M would be much harder

She tells me she will leave me when the youngest moves out in three years and she will take everything I got.Her mom is a selfish biach who lives 180 miles away from us but expects my wife or her sister to come and pick her up and drive her to the gambling boat which is 100 miles back towards our house and then drive her back home because she only drives to the store and back. Her mom just turned 70 and is worth a good amount of cash but I don't want to miss out on getting some of that cash since it has cost me a lot in gas and wear and tear on vehicles driving Miss Daisy around. What also pisses me off is my wife stayed home with the kids for 14 years after we got married and since she started back working has had jobs with no benefits and now she wants my retirement money like she earned it.

First off I hope you're banging other chicks, You have an open invitation from your wife. Next I would offer to take mom to the gambling boat, Then throw the bag off. Not sure why but when I got divorced from my first wife at 25 I lost half my IRA to her. Wasn't so bad because my mom gave me the money to do it, She was pretty worried that I was going to kill my whoring wife

No offense but she did earn it by raising the kids. You allowed that to happen for 14 years and hopefully your kids were raised well. If not, that is your fault as well. I earn significantly more than my wife and I personally feel she is entitle to half of everything we have earned together since being together. Just as I would not mind giving up 50% of our assets to her I would expect her to give me the children 50% of the time. How would you feel if your wife said that since she raised the kids 90% of the time you can only see them 10% of the time post divorce. There is no score keeping once you are married. The only way I think either party should get more is if one party comes into the marriage with significantly more assets or if you had an agreement pre marriage that laid things out and both parties were happy with that arrangement.
