Appears to be Visa branded debit cards only.

If you are able to enroll with a Mastercard branded card, please post.

They had the same promotion last time, however, a lot of people here didn't get that one

Would this apply to Wamu converted Chase cards too?

WAMU Debit didn't work, guess you need to get a new Chase one first:

Your current debit card isn't eligible for Chase Extras, but it's easy to get an eligible card!

Just stop by any Chase or WaMu branch or call us at 1-800-242-7324 to request a new Chase Debit Card that you can enroll in Chase Extras. You can continue to use your current debit card while you wait for your new one to arrive.

Once you receive and activate your new Chase Debit Card, go to www.chase.com/extras to enroll in Chase Extras.

If you have questions about changes to your WaMu checking account or debit card, please see our special FAQ for WaMu customers.

don't think it works for me either

_____________________________________________

Starting October 26, 2009, you can request a new Chase Debit Card and enroll it in Chase Extras! Visit your local Chase or WaMu branch after October 26, for complete details.

In the meantime, you can continue to use your current debit card as you do today.

If you have questions about changes to your Wamu Checking account or Debit Card, please see our special FAQ for WaMu customers.

I got the same message for my Chase debit card, but I was previously a WaMu customer. I'll change it over the next time I'm in a branch.

I added Chase Extras through the link provided, but don't see any confirmation that the promo was entered into my account. Any way to confirm it was without calling/emailing them?

Looks like there is a $25 annual fee for each debit card enrolled.

Please read the Chase Extras Terms and Conditions. Specifically paragraph 2.3 which states: "2.3 Once you have been successfully enrolled in the Program, a nonrefundable annual membership fee ("Fee") of $25 per debit card will automatically be charged to your checking account linked to the enrolled debit card. The Fee is in addition to any fees that we may impose under the Account Rules and Regulations booklet.".

The Chase Rewards Terms and Conditions are at:
https://www.chase.com/ccp/index.jsp?pg_name=ccpmapp/shared/assets/page/debit_rewards_faq&faq=14

Just FYI.

Am I blind? I do not see where they say they charge $25?
I did not start the enrollment process though - is it something shown after you register?
Anyone know if there are any fees? The promotion says FREE.

Leisure Rewards is a particular type of debit card, which does in fact have a fee. The Chase Extras program is free:
https://www.chase.com/ccp/index.jsp?pg_name=ccpmapp/shared/assets/page/debit_rewards_faq&faq=14 Click About the Program:
Q: Is there any cost to enroll in Chase Extras?
A: Chase Extras is a free rewards program. There is no cost to enroll. However redemption of select travel-related items may incur additional costs. See the Chase Extras Catalog for complete details

Here is a link to the Chase Extras T&C (Linky)

Under section 2.0: "2.1 There is no cost to you to enroll or participate in the Program. "

It seems Chase never updated the front end for their debit card enrollment site which is still showing the terms for the Leisure Rewards program.

I was not charged the $25 upon enrollment and with all the advertising showing that the program is free, I am not concerned.

From the bottom of the enrollment page:
Your $10 gift card will be awarded by posting 5,500 bonus rewards points to your Chase Extras account following the expiration of this promotion. Your 5,500 bonus rewards points will post to your Chase Extras account no later than October 31, 2009. Once your points have posted, you will be able to redeem them for a $10 gift card.
I guess we get to wait.
