I'm drawing a blank on what this means.
OP re-wrote the fine print at the bottom to make it come from his POV. Here is that section:
Should you need to withdraw the money prior to the 12-month commitment, you may withdraw all of your deposits plus interest earned. However you will forfeit the $100 bonus.
well I just found out and wanted to see if it passes the FATWALLET TEST
personally i did not apply . my only concern is what is the minimum amount needed in the account at all times ( 12 months )
Verbiage is bit sketchy . I am at work and I cannot call and be on wait. If some one can call and find out and post that'll be great

You just open the acct, set up monthly transfers of $100 and get the $100 bonus after a year, plus a buck or two of interest. You can't withdraw the money, or they will take the bonus back, or so they say. Not great, but pretty easy.

I would do this deal if it was a six month deal. A year is too long (for me) to wait for a $100 bonus.

Does TD have a fee for closing an account? (Not an account transfer - just closing.) What about credit checks?
(Just want to see if anyone knows offhand, before I spend the time looking into it.)

I don't think you can have 2 Save Yourself accts active simultaneously.
I'm asking about those who opened accounts with the $100/month offer, not the old $50/month one.

Last time, after she closed the acct, she emailed to ask if she could open another one for a new bonus, and they said yes. I guess we'll try it again shortly.
