I noticed the same thing, but it says you are automatically enrolled... so I'm thinking that may be a generic thing at the top of the page. But someone definitely should correct me if I'm wrong.

We have to register our card for the promotion, I included the link in my earlier reply, let me know if it workds, by the way I enrolled my card and got the confirmation email.
I have AMEX simplyCash business account with all the open savings merchants but when I tried to register for the promotion it told me my account was ineligible. Guess it is somewhat targeted within the business accounts.
We're sorry. Either the user ID and password you have entered is incorrect or your Card number is not eligible for this promotion. If you are registered to manage your account online and attempted to enroll, please verify your user ID and password and try again. If you believe that you received this message in error, please call the number on the back of your Card and speak to a Customer Service Representative. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your interest in this OPEN Savings® $50 statememt credit promotion and for your continued Cardmembership.
I was logged in and the website knew who I was. I was able to look at my account and charges. Just not able to enroll.

Yep, that worked on my Simply Cash card, thanks!
OP: It'd be nice if you include the enrollment link in your original post.
I was able to enroll my AMEX Business Platinum Card. Now if I only shopped at the stores shown there.

Hmm, I'll have to call them. The website wouldn't enroll my platinum business card.

I can log into my AMEX account, but when I try the link registration login it says: Take Advantage of a New Service Feature If you forget your Password, now you can reset it online. Please select a Security Validation Question and enter your Answer. You will use this information to verify your identity, so that you can create a new Password instantly.
Then I try one and it says: The Security Validation Answer does not match the one you entered when you first created your User ID and / or the Security Validation Question is incorrect. For security purposes, online access to your account has been temporarily suspended. To reset your account, please call American Express Customer Service.

I have AMEX BLUE - non business.... and Honestly, I get better deals with the BLUE promotions than I do with my $450/yr Business Platinum.... how ghetto. I knew I should have cancelled this thing once they scrapped the companion tickets.

You must have the business platinum credit card. The business platinum charge card (and centuron black charge card, for that matter) always has a fee.

was there S&H for the giftcards? Ya, shipping and handling is $0.95 each.
(for non gift cards shipping is free for $25 purchases)
Do we need to go through the OPEN link to qualify for the 5% AMEX savings and/or the two required purchase? Or just use the OPEN CC in general?
And will buying GCs void the 5%? If only need to use the CC, possible to use other CashBack program? Most don't allow GC purchase but found Ebates(4%) to be ok. Doesn't anybody know of other programs?
Spend too much time in Hot Deals and SD.

calwatch said: Haven't gotten the credit either, though I did get the BN credit. I made a transaction at BN.com and one at a FedEx Office store, and the credit hasn't come yet from the Fedex transaction either.
I called in and I am supposed to get the credit adjustment in 48 hours. Thanks OP.
