Citibank: Cannot change or DELETE Recurring Billpays?!? in: Subjects › Deposits

I've set up Recurring Billpays on my checking acct.
ie: Electric, Gas, credit cards

I change the amount every month to match the bills. I've been doing this for a couple of years.

For the past week, i'm unable to change my billpays. The error msg is:
"Temporary Delay
We're sorry. We are having some temporary delays. Please try again later."

I called customer service. They were clueless. All they recommended was delete the billpays and set up again. The 2nd time i called, the recommendation was to delete the cache/cookies in my web browser. (Deleted cookies. Same error msg.)

Anyone else have problems changing their Recurring Billpays?


*Update*
I tried deleting a billpay, and it wouldnt let me!!!

Called them w/the error code.
CSR said 00170 = Invalid transaction.

WTF?!?! Modify or delete any of my billpays is an Invalid transaction??

CSR said he made a request to the technical dept to look into this. They're not in till Mon.
In the meantime, he deleted one of the recurring billpays.
I was able to set it back up w/the amount i wanted.


Anyone else having this problem?

I just checked my account and that is the case here as well. I suspect it is probably a glitch in the system.

I had that happen. Tried again and it worked. First time i did it from the main login screen, second time i went through payments or transfers screen to change.

If you had the CSR on the phone, did you ask them to change it for you? I had a phantom transfer to CC that they tried to push through (think it had to do from a transition from old debit # to new debit # because of a breach), and the CSRs were able to see and cancel it, when I couldn't.

still not working from the front page

had to go through the payments screen to change.
