I just noticed today that Discover Bank dropped its savings to 1.73. In the 6 weeks I have had the account, it has dropped from 2% to 1.85% to 1.73%. I'm feeling cheated.
HSBC dropped the rates too. All the banks are paying in the same vicinity (1.5 to 1.7%). These banks offer stinker rates to attract customers and once they get good investments, they start dropping the rates.
