Does anyone know of any deals to get Turbo Tax for free? Last year state farm gave it away for free if you opened a checking account. I'm not sure if they have the same deal this year. I still have my checking account open (just have the minimum balance and never use it.)
I realize this does not answere your question and I don't want to start a huge discussion about what is better that what, but I have been using TaxAct for free for many years (maybe 4). Works for me but then the most complicated part of my return is a schedule A.
