Might be worth switching to from my Chase (grandfathered WAMU).
You can easily avoid the $10 monthly maintenance fees by: •making 3 transactions per statement cycle, •maintaining $1,000 minimum average daily balance in the account, or •if you are under the age of 25.

It's not listed on this link, but the Cash Back checking account also offers free ATM withdrawals at other banks' ATM's. They'll reimburse the fees from the other bank, too. I've been looking at this account to get rid of my Wachovia account, I think I'll move now for the $100.

In July of 2008, I opened an account in an M&I branch for a $150 bonus. Not this particular type of account, but I did receive a hard pull for anyone that cares.
has anyone opened an account? with a credit card? what is the limit?

I just noticed this fine print: "To be eligible for this cash bonus offer, you must have received the M&I Cash Back Checking direct mail piece."
I'm not sure if they just added it, or if it already said that.

Read the fine print folks, it says you must've received this DIRECT MAIL, on the apply page it says PROMO CODE optional, but it is NOT, its required!!! I tried both an AZ branch & the toll free #. If anyone has this, please post/share. Thanks.
