I called up, touch-toned my card info, and was offered a 20% bonus to rewards earned with the card for the next 6 months. Pushed 1 to accept and listen to T&C. Boiler plate stuff about what counts as a purchase. Said and extra 0.2% for 6 months. Made no mention of the 2% on utilities and EDP that I still have on the card. edit: The entire call was handled by automated system, I didn't speak to a CSR at all.
No idea if this is invitation only, whether it's limited to Dividend cards or whether the offer will be different for different customers. It would be interesting to hear if anyone else got this offer, or something different. .2% isn't great, but I'm since I'm just trying to earn another $8 on cable and cell phone bills to be able to cashout, it won't hurt.
I'll report back in a month with an update of whether this offer added 0.4%, 0.2%, or no bonus to the 2% on utilities (if it only applies to non-bonus categories).

I went ahead and called the number again, and entered info from a dormant Citi card. Got the "We're having trouble verifying your info, if you've recently changed your address/phone, please call the number on the back of your card for a representative".
So, the offer is 0.2% more rewards at the of 6 months ?

It's an extra 0.2% CashBack on purchases for the next 6 months. A bit confusing though, they first said a 20% bonus to rewards, then said 0.2% increase in the CashBack--this works for most categories, 1% base + 0.2% = 1.2% back, a 20% bump. But for EDP and Utils I get 2% back, a 20% bump should be 0.4% extra. I'll just have to see what happens on my next statement.
Anyone get the rewards on their statement ? I have a category called "Congrats! CashBack Bonus" on my statement for $3.16, but I cannot figure out how it is being calculated. I had $14.59 in base rewards and $2.42 in bonus categories. Maybe my mind is just not doing the math.

I get 3.16 if you take the 14.59 in 1% rewards, add 1.21 (half of the 2% bonus rewards) and multiply by 20%.
So it seems that the 20% bonus meant adding 0.2% to all purchases, whether or not they were bonus categories--making the card a 1.2%/2.2% reward card.
Obviously, I was hoping for 1.2/2.4, but still 2.2>2.0 so I'll be happy.
