all the tobacco company promos require it- not just copen but marlboro, native american spirit, etc. i just bite the bullet and give them the info so they can verify my age. hopefully it doesn't come back and haunt me when i go to get life insurance or health insurance in the future.

so far i've received a really nice stainless steel thermos and swiss army knife from copen. almost worth the potential consequences.

i regularly get FREE gifts and enter contests from skoal, copenhagen, black + milds, + marlboro without any problems at all. not only do i get the items but i actually enjoy doing it. as far as entering personal information they dont get any more then any of the rest.. NAME, ADDRESS, DOB, maybe TELEPHONE # and yes i have done the last 4 of the social to verify on some without worry.

I got this flask last time around It is really nice.. and it does not have any printing on the sides advertising the product. I holds about 2 cups of coffee... I ran into the full SS# issue.. I went back and put in my full middle name then it only needed the last 4 digits...

this is the part i worry about: " I certify that I am a tobacco product consumer 21 years of age or older. . . " this could bite you in the butt if this database is ever cross-referenced with health insurer databases.

it can keep hot or cold its a mini thermos... it also has a push spout so you can pour it without letting out all the heat. ( or cold ) would be great for cuban coffee. its also BPA free

I have gotten several nice things from them and never had to put my SSN. Don't understand why you had to. The forms I filled out never asked. Have gotten 2 caps and a swiss-army style knife.
