Given the rumors of them declaring bankruptcy, I don't think I want to be anywhere near this company. Pass.

It is every citizen's responsibility to take advantage of them and push them over the edge

Oh my god! Something terrible might happen if I accept free DVD rentals!!!!!

lets face it, it's not Netflix or redbox; except for a maybe a dozen per year, most new movies are unwatchable.

Darn it. The registration page never asked me to put the code. I thought it will ask for confirmation in the next page. But it registered me only for 2 weeks trial. Please clarify where to exactly put the code.

blockbuster page, under the options says... have a promo code (in blue typing)... click and enter code.

Based on the way crummier selection vs. Netflix, especially for selections that are not "blockbusters", and the lenghtly time it took to receive dvds in the mail, when Netflix took 1 day (last I tried Blockbuster), and the whole store vs. Redbox, ect., vending machine, its no wonder they are going to go bankrupt (its not a rumor-its going to happen). Your helping put them out of their misery by them incurring postage costs for your free trial.

Can anyone verify that this includes on-demand? I signed up but it doesn't seem to be working.

Chris

FAR to long has Blockbuster been ripping us off with there hidden charges and late fee's! I personally won't give them my business.

Does this work for games also?

nvm

I am sorry but I still couldn't find the options on the home page. Can you please elaborate?

where to enter the coupon code? thanks for the post if it works

having the same problem....where do I enter the code to increase the trial from 2 weeks to 4 weeks?

edit: FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT. Follow the free (or try it free, or free trial) buttons until you get to a page where you see different packages. Just above the "start free trial" button, you will see "Have a Promotional Code?" Click on that and enter the code in the OP's post.

BTW, green for you OP, thanks

Or you can just use this link and save yourself the trouble of looking for the coupon code

Yes, you never know what may happen to you if you happen to have a free rented DVD in your player when they sign those chapter 11 papers. I would attempt to steer clear also, but I just can't pass up free movie rentals delivered directly to my mailbox for a month.

Anyone? I downloaded on demand on my cpu but it's charging $3.99 per movie.

video on demand is not free with blockbuster--

URL: http://www.blockbuster.com/help
Anytime you download a movie-- there will be a charge in addition to whatever plan you have.

How can I pay for my BLOCKBUSTER By Mail subscription?

You can use MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express or Paypal to pay for your BLOCKBUSTER By Mail subscription. See Terms and Conditions for more information. If you'd like to update or change your form of payment, visit the My Account section and click on the Change link next to your current form of payment.

Remember to use a one time use CC with $1 limit. Also, last time this happened I canceled the number right after the I got the Blockbuster confirmation email. You can never be too safe with corporations and giving them your credit card (do you really want to fight chargebacks?)

The OP description is either wrong or misleading about on demand.

I don't think there's free steaming. Last I heard it was a per rental fee for each movie...

Btw, do I need to create a new account or can I use an old one? I canceled years ago but afaik the account is still there.

didn't put in the code. only got 2 week trial, help, it will not let me go back to put the code in
