People who rate posts, either red or green, must have some sort of interest in this thread, so I doubt there are many "haters" here. I agree with you in encouraging people not to take ratings personally. I use the ratings system the way I think it is meant to be used: I give green to posts I agree with or find beneficial, and red to posts I consider the opposite. The person behind the post usually is of no bearing, but we are all human, after all. It's impossible to expect emotions never to be a factor.
If red ratings are really such a terrible thing, then why does FW allow them? Food for thought.
