If you're like me and have been too lazy to set up a dummy FB account and want to use your real one:
When it opens up the applications page on FB, set "Who can see posts this app makes for you on your Facebook timeline:" to "Only me." Then in the next step when it asks for extra permissions, skip. I got the credit without spamming anyone.
Green for the totally honest wording of the title.

Two things, first no you don't have to spam your friends because you dont have to allow the app you can skip it and it will still give you the credit. Second,

Yes, the credit loads. But I am not finding Don't Throw Stones from the ROAD HOUSE soundtrack, so may need to pass on this one.

Even more honest would be to say "Lose your FaceBook friends and earn flimsy $2 Amazon MP3 credit"

Also, this stacks with the "$2 off select $5 Albums" deal (when purchased from android app or kindle app). So, in theory, $1 albums.
Amazon has a "Best of 2012 so far" list. A few (not all) of these are available for $2.99. The new Snow Patrol, Fallen Empires, is available for $2.99.
