I have so many ahead, it'll be some time till I get to this one. Darn freebies, haven't had to buy any in a while (years) Is this the first time Dove deodorant caused a reaction? Most of my freebie stock is Dove ('cause Unilever gave them through Wallyworld, some Spanish language site, directly from manufacturer, etc) and so far none have bothered me. I may need to do an allergy test (put small amount on inside of elbow, wait 24 hours) before using this. Contact dermatitis sucks. Antihistamines and hydrocortisone cream should help to stop the itchies.

Gotta be the scent then. Never had contact dermatitis in underarm area, always would get it on hands, typically from dish detergent liquids. Never found the culprit ingredient, just slathered on hydrocortisone and bought rubber dish gloves. I was scratching like crazy, my hands would be red around the knuckles, can't imagine how you dealt with the itchies where located. Hope it passes soon. I'm gonna affix a sticky to mine with a note to do an allergy test, I don't envy your experience one bit, and have no desire to suffer the itchies. Do you have an allergy history? At least it didn't cost you for the deodorant, even though you had to toss it.
