Free Stuff Calendar
Every weekday in August, enter for a chance to win all sorts of amazing beauty and fashion loot—a whopping 32,350 items to be exact. There are two easy ways to win—by scantag and at allure.com/free-samples (Click the "Enter here" link in the August Free Stuff Blowout box). Check out all the giveaways now!

Important! If you are not already registered at Allure, you must register first (https://secure.allure.com/user/registration) , as you will need your password to enter. Hint: Using Google Chrome will save time due to auto-fill.

Every day, several times a day, Allure will be doing a) giveaways for free stuff to the first 500 (unless otherwise stated) who successfully complete and submit the form. b) giveaways for in which you will have a chance to win an item. You need to scroll through the calendar to see what is being given away when, and whether the item is free to the 1st 500, or a drawing for winners. Way to many freebies to list all here, just check the online calendar. Post/share if you win one of the 500 only items.

I will list each weeks freebies and the time they will be given away. The freebie is limited to the 1st 500 who successfully submit online or scantag, unless listed otherwise. Check the calendar if you want any items they are drawing winners for.

Times listed are EST.

I tried for the Pond's Luminous Clean Wet Cleansing Towelettes, didn't get any confirmation, so I guess I missed out. All it said was. "Thank you for signing up for Allure's Free Stuff. Keep coming back all month long to enter to win more beauty and fashion prizes!"

ETA: I found out that you won't receive any confirmation by phone (if using the scantag), or online (if using the submission form). The only way to find out if you won is to wait and see if you get the freebie in the mail. Sooooo.... I guess we will have to wait and be surprised. Good luck to all, hope many Fatwalleters get some free goodies!

Also, added a link to registration page, though the link is available on Allure website in upper left corner of page.

If anybody wins this, post a pic to this thread.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 24

How does it work? I signed up but can't seem to find a way to choose an item for the drawing.

At just before the time given for the item you want (Let's use the "4 P.M. Shiseido Eudermine Revitalizing Essence (150)" as an example), you can either click the allure.com/free-samples (Then the "Enter here" link in the August Free Stuff Blowout box), or the link in the OP that says "By submitting the form below", and fill out your information. If you wanted the Shiseido Eudermine Revitalizing Essence, you would submit the form at 4:00 pm est (or whatever 4 pm est is in your time zone). You fill out the same form for each item at the time specified, there is no individual sign-up form to choose. Once you have signed up, the form should autofill if using a browser with autofill, so you should only need to check the boxes at the bottom. For the "first 500 (or whatever number specified)", you must submit as soon as possible, Shiseido Eudermine Revitalizing Essence would be at exactly 4 pm est, for example. And the 1st 150 submissions would receive the item. For the items they are doing drawings for, you can signup anytime within that hour. An item available at 5:00 pm est, would accept submissions for the drawing from 5 pm to 5:59 pm est.

Basically, you are using the same form each time you enter for an item that is 1st X number, or a drawing for X number of lucky winners. The time you submit it must match the time of the item you want, that is what determines which item you are hoping to receive. I know I was a bit confused at first, as I thought each giveaway would have it's own sign-up link, but figured out that wasn't the way it worked. Same link for each item/time. HTH!

Yes! All times listed in OP are EST, so adjust for other time zones.

This big contest is great! i win a few products every year! There is no limit to the products you can win. Keep in mind however that some may take a few months to arrive. I once got a product 5 months after the contest!

I would usually forget about these, and when something would arrive many months later, with some card in the box mentioning Allure, I'd have to refresh my memory. I believe the vendor sending is not Allure, but the product company themselves, which may explain the delay. I still remember the Oprah Summer of Giveaways back in 2005 I think. I won so many freebies from that, and stuff was still arriving many months later (like Winter). I'm still using the giant tube of Redken Hair Butter from that, I still have about a ¼ tube left. A little bit goes a very long way.

Anywhoo, OP is updated with the new week. Good luck ladies (or you gents trying to score one for your lady).

Bumping for new week of freebies, OP updated for week 3.

your are awesome sweetclover! thank you. i would give you more green if i could C'MON PEOPLE... 3 WEEKS AND BARELY ANY GREEN?!?! thanks again and good luck <3

There are actually 6 items each day, looks like that original list is just missing the 12PM (noon) one.

LittleN said:   There are actually 6 items each day, looks like that original list is just missing the 12PM (noon) one.

That's because the 12 noon ones are not items offered to the first 500 (or whatever amount listed for each item). They are contest items in which the winner is drawn from all entrants. So they are not Free Stuff Forum items, which is why I put a link to the calendar and this note, "Check the calendar if you want any items they are drawing winners for.". For those, you can sign-up at any time within the hour, and you are entered for a chance to win whatever number of prizes specified.

Oh, and ashleydempsey, thanks for the cheering section. I think this doesn't get as much green because it's limited to x-number of items at x-time of day, and therefore requires a little more work. I'm okay with the green from those willing to do the bit of work involved to get a freebie. The limit of the items makes the odds difficult, especially when the number of items are small (like 10 of one). I've never seen these threads in the past get a lot of traffic and greens. As I mentioned above, it's been a few years since I actually won an Allure freebie.

^Bump^ New week is up.

Good stuff today to try for.

Thank you - I always forget about these contests for some reason

hit the "submit" button right at the entry time for the $8 dollar lipstick...took over 7 minutes for it to go thru...then i got a "proxy error".
(sigh)

good luck to others

^Bump^ for the final week of giveaways.

Submission form is a different link (submission form for giveaway), you don't need to log-in first, the first time you enter, you will be asked for your password, once you have entered once, you will be logged in and the form app will store your info. The submission form will be pre-filled, just check the boxes at the bottom and submit. You don't need to log-in after, just go straight to the form, you are auto-logged in. HTH!
