I think the code was in a previous email that was titled for a BJ's Warehouse Club offer, just check your trashed email if you weren't able to enter the code the 1st time around... Just copy the code there (if you've got it) and paste it into the logged-in KFR code section.

I've found that the emails are slightly different in layout and subject for individuals. So, while the code may have been found in one specifically titled email, it's likely in all member's emails sent out over a course of several days, with others finding it under a different subject. Mine was the same as yours, I had the BJ's Warehouse Club, of which there are none in my area. I would suggest if users don't find the email specified in the OP, they look for any KFR emails sent recently.
KFR sent me ANOTHER email with a slightly different offer configuration that ALSO had a BJ's Warehouse Club (in my case none for ~ 1K miles SE, the only time that had been in one with that same 60 day freebie membership was when I was on vacay going those 1K miles from Puerto Rico into SoFL) offer.
So they have sent emails with the offer lately, but seems to all the ones with the (MLB) 50 KFR points offer have the same code numbers... (tried again and it said it was a dup)

When posted, there were some issues that either caused people to get an 'invalid code' error message, or 100 pts. The code is actually 25 pts, more detail in this thread.
If you checked your email for Saturday, you should have received one title "NEW! NEW! NEW! Rewards!" that announces additional rewards added to the catalog. For 8,500 points, you can purchase a magazine gold card, that can be used for a subscription to a variety of different magazines. See the website for details and a list of available magazines.
I've just checked if Magazine Gold Card was another Time Magazines (Synapse Connect) outfit (notorious for not spelling out ownership), but it seems to be a referral service between incentive programs (like KFR) and publishers or magazine distributors (like Time / Synapse Connect). The selections looks good enough and supposedly they don't ask for bank card numbers or auto-renewal (both are clearly spelled out on the link given by KFR), let's see how this flies...
I got this in a e mail and this is for a FREE metal ornament from shutter fly and go to this web site of shutterfly.com/kelloggs and enter in this code KEAA-27VG-VU50-FE0Z3D when i do not do shutter fly none and any one who wants this can have this code
FREE SWEEPS CODE Register or log in, enter your sweeps code, then redeem your free points for a sweepstakes entry or other great reward. Code expires 1/14/16. (not sure if code is only for individual person)
They are individual, you can't share sweeps codes you receive in email. They mail these out to members individually over the course of several days, so members should check to see if they got the email, and wait a little longer if they haven't.

Hopefully there will be something useful this year, IIRC, last years was pretty sad.
It up, it's lame, it's beyond pathetic - see for yourself. I might spring for From You Flowers GC's, could use it to get some freebie house plants paying delivery only. Otherwise,... um...no. Geez - the cajones to say, "Mark your calendar and collect those points so that you redeem them for something G-r-r-reat!" - sorry Tony, definitely NOT g-r-r-reat! Yes, pathetic - seriously, an international company thats ridiculously huge and yes the lamest collection of offerings.
Ever since they ran out of the tote bags, Ive been waiting for something, anything to justify this code collecting Ive got caught up in from free codes and Kelloggs things I'd buy anyway. Theyve nothing motivating enough to specifically choose their brand over another in order to collect points, which I would think would be their objective (increase sales) but certainly doesnt feel like it.
