hmm - never registered the wii, but did the wii u. Wonder if you can register the wii-u under wii mode...

I just registered my Wii, $5 offer appeared while clicking through. They then offered me a free one month of Prime, so took that.
I can't find where it shows the $5 has been applied to account. But even if it doesn't, I'm ahead with the free month. Thanks OP

When you are on line at Amazon, click on any of the videos and below the main window, there is a sign that says "Have a promotion code? Redem gift card or promotion. View balance". Click the "view balance" and all balances that you have will show up.

Thanks Butcherboy! I am glad for the $5, but even more excited to know that Amazon Instant Video is now available for the Wii!
