Please note these are most likely only FREE for a day. Since this is under Free Stuff I can only mark as DEAD and not to Expired Deals. I will be updating this post thru the day

The only reason I am posting here is since I cannot keep up with the official thread.

Also mods will most likely move anything with a value under $10 here even if I post to Hot Deals.

Also a note that may help those running out of space.
Amazon does have the option of Kindle Cloud Reader - this will allow you to just go to any computer browser and go to Read.Amazon.com.

Humongous Hippopotamus - Indoor Explorer Picture Book
Did You Know . . .

A hippopotamus can consume over one hundred pounds of grass EVERY night?

That hippos can sleep underwater?

A hippo makes an excellent sleepover guest?!

For Your Family

Written by a family for your family, Humongous Hippopotamus by Michael Wills (with a helping hand from his two young daughters) gives a fantastic insight into the minds, lives and imaginations of these fascinating creatures: from feeding to sleeping to swimming. And then back to feeding again. Available exclusively as a downloadable e-book, Humongous Hippopotamus is aimed at children of all ages and their adults!

A great balance of fact and fiction, this e-book is packed with humor (which will appeal as much to grown-ups as kids) and interspersed with true, educational snippets about hippos. Its also superbly illustrated with a selection of gorgeous, fun, colorful photos that children will love to look at. The text is simple enough for a preschooler to understand, easy enough for a second-grader to try to read alone, yet interesting enough to keep older children amused too.

When it comes to literary critics, children are the harshest of all, but Humungous Hippopotamus is one e-book that will keep them entertained from start to finish just take a look at the Amazon reviews and reader feedback and see for yourself.

Whether youre a parent, teacher, First-Grader or a cool older kid, you NEED to download this book today. Its fun, funny, easy-to-read and (sssshhhh!) educational too. Not to mention the benefits of using interactive, modern technology with your little ones. Humungous Hippopotamus offers the perfect opportunity to explore the wilds of Africa from the comfort of Mom or Dads knee: great for daytime, bedtime or anytime. And the children wont even notice how much theyre learning!

Digital Prairie Madness [Kindle Edition]

Original Fiction by Jeff Hunt, author of Eduardo Aquifer (Livingston Press)

From review written by Chris G:
The Digital Prairie Madness consists of seven short stories that range from two pages up to about 20 pages in length. The stories range from funny, to cynicism, to what the hell did I just read weirdness.

Most of the stories are filled with philosophical comedy that gets you thinking. The stories in brief begin with a Dear John style letter addressed to a woman, which could all be dreams. Or the entries from a mysterious diary tell a story all to itself.

These short stories are written in a colorful and imaginative world that is very thought provoking and will defiantly surprise with endings that are not of the normal. The stories are short and are very easy to read and are recommended to anyone that wants a short break for real life.

I don't know how hard you work compiling these lists each day, but I open this link each morning...
