First I want to say, I love this site! I have been visiting for several months in lurk mode all the while enjoying all the freebies you guys post, especially the magazine subscriptions, so, thank you!!!
Anyway the other day someone here asked how one can have all their magazine subscriptions forwarded to a new address since the PO only will forward for 2 months. I figure since I "steal" all the freebies posted its about time I contribute even if this isn't really a freebie but rather a time saver.
I recently moved and received a moving packet from the PO and inside was a phone number for a place that will forward all subsriptions for free.
Call 1-866-262-2816 its toll free. Hours are Monday - Saturday 9:00am to 6:00pm eastern time.
The catch? After they get all the names of the magazines you want forwarded they will try to sell you more magazines. No hard sell though, I just told the guy before he transfered me that all 27 magazines I already gave him were all freebies and my new postman was already pissed at me so I did not need anymore magazines. I even gave the operator the name of this site so he could get his own.
One more thing, they did ask for a phone number, I assume so they could use it for solicitation purposes. I just said I wasn't hooked up yet.
BTW the service does work, I already received some magazines (not the post offfice forwarded ones) and I've only been in my new place a month.

thanks for the info on how to change all subscriptions and i know the feeling about the mail carrier hating you since i joined fw i too sign up for everything i can get my hands on and my mailbox is always over flowing, but that's why they get the big bucks so eventually he'll get over it or i'll move.

Magazine wants more ad revenues by getting more readers. Magazine offers free subscriptions to website. Website offers free magazines to FatWalleters. FatWalleters' mailboxes over flows, frustrating mail man. Mail man shoots 14 of his co-wokers.

My mailman tells me to get more magazines...says he gets paid by the amount of mail he delivers. So I must oblige him
