Q: What is up with these freebiz magazines? I can't seem to ever qualify for the things! I hate this! I think I am going to go crazy if I can't figure this thing out!
A: You aren't 'qualifying' for the free magazine offered, but instead for the trade publications they are trying to push. If their standard combination of answers doesn't work then the offer is most likely dead, and it is nothing but a waste of time to sit there attempting multiple combinations. Also unless you feel like filling out lengthy surveys on freebizmag, they should only select the original magazine they were signing up for and none of the trade publications offered with it. That should result in a survey of only 5 or so questions (although I have seen some of the 'planned publications' asking quite a few more personal questions lately, but like I said elsewhere, I don't think those magazines are really being planned and I believe they are just information harvesting, fraudulently one would have to assume). It would also be good to note that the exception to this would be a free magazine offer in the 5 or so questions, as has happened lately with the free offer for Budget Living, which it is OK to select because it does not add a lengthy survey to the process. Also just close any pop-up 'Thank-you bonus' or 'Bonus Center' windows as they are only 'risk free' and require a CC. OR in other words if you can't qualify don't try! Repeat that little rhyme to yourself about 5 times a day and you will get it! Good luck!

THE ia2ca FAQ:
Q: Does anyone know if you sign up more than once if that adds a year to the subscription?
A: They only add onto your suscription if you apply in a different 'signup' period. It's different all the time. Some offers say "new subscribers only" so take that for what it's worth. I've had free subscriptios added onto the end of (OMG, yes) a PAID subscription. I always check the labels when subscriptions start (and maintain a spreadsheet just so I know what I already have). One company offers free one year subscriptions, but they always ends up only being 6 months (at least for me). Sometimes I sign up for the same magazine offered free on different website - sometimes they get stacked, sometimes they don't. LOL - Some people have never-ending Blender/Stuff/Maxim subscriptions because there are always free offers that keep stacking. Our Maxim doesn't expire until 2009 and Stuff doesn't expire until 2007. Every once in a while, you'll get two copies of the same magazine and you just have to call and ask them to combine the subscriptions.
Are there any dead links? I had just checked them all and they all worked. Just let me know if any are dead and I will edit them.

Occasionally when I go to fill out a form for freebizmag and --I assume--the offer's gone, when I log in the magazine I was trying for isn't there on the page to submit one's choices. This just happened with Bird Times.
Thought you should know. It's a terrific list, though. I wouldn't worry too much about it. So many to enjoy.

Another good trick is to just do a google search using the "site:" command, such as:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=lang_en&ie=ISO-8859-1&as_qdr=all&q=gift+site%3Amagscentral.com - or linked which gives you a list of links for instances in which the word gift is found on magcentral site

Great Job! Maybe you could put the title as "Official Free Magazine Thread", or something like that, so people will put them in here.
