Nope they are definitely full subscriptions. Just got an email advertising free PC Magazine for 1 year (22 issues) at the above-posted link. All of the other "subscription" pages are identical. It is confusing because it says download your first issue now, but if you note the text below it, it does say "Thank you for subscribing" and .. "To begin receiving your issues"

anyone want to explain?
They are digital magazines -- basically the full magazine (with ads and graphics) but on your computer. You need to download the Zinio reader application that should have downloaded when you signed up. You can download the reader application here. When you run the application it has a button to "check for new magazines". Any new issues will download automatically and be saved on your hard drive.
After downloading the magazine, how do I know my subscriber account number? Basically how am I suppose to convert the digital edition to print one? I tried that link but I am not able to log into the system.

You should get an e-mail which gives you your account number. (The account number is the e-mail address you signed up with.) However, I have been unsuccessful in converting the digital to print, too. I guess you need to a) enter your mailing address at Zinio and b) wait for a while before converting to print.
Does anybody ever like the digital version seems real slow to download and change pages etc.
They could use a fatter pipe for downloads as it is a bit slow on my cable modem. Page turns are reasonably quick with my centrino 1.6 laptop, though the subscription cards turning is just ridiculous and has no reason to be in there. You'd need a decent screen to appreciate the digital format, full two page spread looks great and completely legible on my WUXGA screen.
