Performances are copyright protected, the music is public domain. The BBC apparently has rights to release these recordings. There may be others out there, but you gotta find them. I doubt there are many free MP3 sites that carry 30mb files.

Beethoven 1 - 5 done. A tad slow at 450kbs, but not too shabby.

DA DA DA DAAAA!

Thanks OP!

Does anyone have a link to a mirror or archive site? I got all but #3, the site
was so crowded I missed that one in the process of downloading. Thanks.

Arg! Only got 4kb/s and they took down 1 and 3 while i was in the middle of downloading =(

Anyone mind rehosting or send to me please? I'd really appreciate it

alert mods

Can someone rehost 1 and 3 please? I missed out on it.

alert mods

I could use 3 myself.

Same here, maybe someone could attach 1 and 3 to gmail and adress it to watuzi_at_gmail_com. Lets put that 2 GB account to good use.

Anyone know if we could use dropload for something like this?

Forget it. I just checked and they only allow a file to be picked up once.

Arrrrgh, I forgot to download 1 and 2.. anyone have these, please?

I have them all and would be happy to upload them if I had a place. I'd open a Gmail account and share the password, but attachments can only be 10MB.

I believe you can attach a larger file and save the email as a draft (without sending) to get around the 10M restriction.

Just tried, got a "This document contains no data" message when I clicked Save. Same message as when I try to send.
