HEYYYYYYYYYYYYY, It is working after copy paste twice... with the following proc:
Open up Internet Explorer. MSN likes Internet Explorer, and hates Firefox.
For this to work, you must be signed out of MSN. Go to the MSN Homepage, and double check you are signed out.
Copy this URL to Internet Explorer: Right Click On Here -> Copy
You should be redirected to another URL (Another URL to login). Sign in.
You should see the regular Hotmail once signed in.
Once you see the regular Hotmail, do Step #3 again. Copy the same URL above.
Click ‘Participate’ on the bottom (Scroll down!) and walla!

for those who miss check boxes, try doing a multi-select to the messages (hold ctrl or shift and select the messages). enables u to delete multiple messages.

I get to the BETA webpage, but after I click JOIN, it goes back to my hotmail acct.

I am not sure if people where having my problem with the hotmail beta link which would not work at all. i was given by a friend a invite he got direct from microsoft which work for me only by giving me a 2gb mailbox not the new look which here is the answer from microsoft why my layout did not change.

I was able to see that you have a classic account. The interface not changing for classic accounts is a known issue and our Engineering Department is working to resolve this issue. Basically all you can do from here on out, until it is changed, is wait.  i am not seeing the windows live mail just the old outlook. all i get is the 2gb mailbox nothing else.

Just an update for those of us who did this. It seems like MS has updated Windows Live Mail for some compatibility with Firefox. As of this morning, the page was formatted correctly, I could actually "reply" to messages, and save messages to my folders. This was all unavailable before. There are probably more compatible features but I haven't looked for them. I was getting really frustrated with it before these restored features. |
