Look at the hotmail logo at the top left, it should ask if you want to participate in Beta |

I signed my friend up and couldn't get it to work. Then after doing it several times I saw the invitation to join over the main logo |

Where's that?
Login your yahoo mail. You can either access it from the front page on the right it should say "try the new beta" or you can go into the options on your acct and you'll see it at the top of the page "try the beta". Say yes and it'll log you out and then back in w/ the new interface.
This is getting to be off-topic a bit, but for those that are interested:
Yahoo Mail Beta
How can I try out the beta? To try the beta, just do the following: 1. Log into Yahoo! Mail 2. Click on the link that says "Try out the beta version of Yahoo! Mail," directly below your unread message summary. Note: We will gradually make the beta version available to our users over a period of a few weeks, so you may not see this link immediately. 3. On the resulting page, click on the "Switch to Beta Version Now!" link, and you will see your mailbox with the new design
Not to crap your post, but the link brought me to India Yahoo.
The Indian girl on Indian Yahoo looks very horny. Thanks! |

For those asking how to undo this:
Click on the Options Then select Beta Opt-out. Click on the Beta Opt-out button.

I'll say it's a lot cleaner. Worked fine for me except zero of my email shows up now. Oops.
Funny, works fine on another machine... that's using IE5.5. Log in and it tells me that I really need to upgrade to IE6. First machine where the stuff wasn't working is fresh, clean IE6 on W2K3AS and SP1. Double oops.

Did anyone loose POP once they agreed to this?
They still give me POP service since I've had hotmail before they stopped it |

I guess thats OK, seeing as I'm not able to delete that infereor browser. Come to think of it screw that, Microsoft and it's monopoly mentality need some more payback. Ban Hotmal and stick with Gmail which is not a proprietory service. |

If you decide to go back to the old look of Hotmail, using the simple steps I gave earlier, you can still "signup" for the beta again. I'm not fond of the TINY viewing window, but I do like the look. |
