You don't need to copy and paste twice.
Log in first and copy and paste once, then it should be fine.
Still not as good as Gmail, in that Gmail has real-time increasing storage, auto save, search mails, mark star, auto map, auto tracking UPS/USPS/Feded/DHL, and more.
Hotmail is dying if windows are not doing anything on it.
Oops, Beta mail also can search mails.... |

Wow, it looks rediculously similar to Exchange Server 2003's Outlook Web Access. Coincidince, I think not. |

I do not know why this is a big deal. It was available for sign up two weeks ago, and I already opted out. I signed up from my regular account (there is a tab right there), and then lost 4 days email from all folders. Surprisingly they replied to my question, and told me they do not back up beta as often as old hotmail, so there is nothing they can do. She even put in written, there is some fine print about this in the agreement. I opted out. So why this is a big deal? Is gmail much better??? |

OK, I finally got it to work!
1) Deleted temporary Internet Files while I was signed into Hotmail.
2) Tried to signout of Hotmail. It hung so after several minutes I stopped IE.
3) Back into IE. Copied OP's link less "into your browser" which is appended to the end of the link on my computer.
4) Pasted it into the address bar. Ended up at the Hotmail sing-in page and signed in.
5) Pasted it into the address bar again while on Hotmail page and ended up on the Beta page.
6) Selected "Join" or whatever it is : )
7) Ended up in the new version.
Hope this helps somebody Gotta go see what's new. |

Thanks OP. It worked. I've always used yahoo cause you can check POP mail from it. I don't see where you can do that in hotmail. |

2: No sign in prompt
3: It did work. I didn't need to paste it again. I selected "Join Mail Beta" (no "Participate").
4: I don't see a difference.
What am I missing?
I am having the same problem.
I thought it worked but I'm getting the same thing too. |
