3. It shouldn't work, so copy again and you should get to a page where you can click on a button labeled "Participate"

Will be better when they start supporting firefox. Also the options of viewing by threads would be neat. I just opted out since i dont want to be running wine everytime i have to check my hotmail.

Didn't work for me. Everytime I click on 'Join Mail Beta!', it takes me back to regular Hotmail. I tried clearing cookies/tempfiles/etc without luck.

Just visit Windows Live and you can sign up many other Windows Live Services. There is a direct access to sign up for Live Mail! Hope this is helpful!

Where's that?
Login your yahoo mail. You can either access it from the front page on the right it should say "try the new beta" or you can go into the options on your acct and you'll see it at the top of the page "try the beta". Say yes and it'll log you out and then back in w/ the new interface.

I've tried it and decided to undo it for several reasons.
1. Firefox is a no go. 2. St@ples mails (and others) are pre-formatted, and live mail will cut off part of it for the MS ads. No resize/scroll bar option for those emails. 3. If there is a spam email and you want to delete it from the inbox, you will have to drag it to the trash/spam box. However while you drag it the email will open and mark as read.
Overall it has a nice GUI but not much different than the old hotmail system in terms of the features.
Just an update for those of us who did this. It seems like MS has updated Windows Live Mail for some compatibility with Firefox. As of this morning, the page was formatted correctly, I could actually "reply" to messages, and save messages to my folders. This was all unavailable before. There are probably more compatible features but I haven't looked for them. I was getting really frustrated with it before these restored features.
