Did anyone get any response after updating their profile on the website?

Just signed all the documents and I'm in!!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart PML - this couldn't have come at a better time!

Out of curiosity, does anyone know anything about this printer? Or is it still under the wraps? I did a search on it and didn't find any info about it, so they've kept it under the wraps (or 5280 is simply the "code name" for it).

It's good advertising for them, too -- they could simply do what Brother does, and not test their printers before selling millions of defective units and then blame the customer for not replacing the drum unit every 30 days for $200 on a $200 printer.

It comes with 5 ink cartridges -- 2 color, 1 photo, and 2 black, and two sample packs of photo paper, and one CD-R disc that is printable.

The printer is awesome. It lets you print out random mazes (for kids to work on) without even having it attached to the computer. It took forever to install the drivers and related software, and I think I found a bug already (but won't report it here).

I was frankly surprised that it arrived on Monday. That means they must have shipped it on Saturday?

Be sure to save the box and the packing material -- you'll use it to ship broken/defective units back to them in it, if it should break in your hands. (They'll send you a new one if it does).

Was there anykind of reference number on the shipping label?? Wish they would have sent us tracking numbers so we could see when it was coming. Fedex comes to my house at 1-2 in the afternoon, these days who's around to sign for packages as of today still waiting for mine. With a refernce number we can try to track these.
