These work like any other online photo store (like Snapfish etc.). When you sign up they will be added to your account. It doesn't say anything about expiry but who will wait I just did this 2 days back and today I will be picking these.

if you pick up prints at the store and order online there is a fee for any orders under $5
They say fee, but when you pick up from store, usually there is no charge. I tried it and no fee was charged making it totally free. equan said: if you pick up prints at the store and order online there is a fee for any orders under $5
good deal though. Nice looking prints also. If sign up for an extracare card online, you won't get your number until your card comes in the mail in about a week.

Thanks!! Wow, with all the free print deals I've found at FW for different sites, it's hard to imagine ever having to pay for digital prints again.

Sunday workshop, you say? Too bad none of the CVS's around here are open on Sundays. That sounds cool.
theres also another 10 prints to be had making 50 in total. Once signed into your account in the left menu click on order prints and then click on do more with your photos. You will get another 10 prints.
Also you can have more than 1 email account linked to each card. I currently have 1 card but so far have 2 email address linked and have got 100 free prints.

Thanks! Looks like I'm set for a while
The link "do more with your photos" was on the right side of the page for me. It is tied to downloading the CVS photo editing software but the credits are issued just by clicking on the link so you don't actually have to download the software.

please post how your pick-up went....
I did the target deal a couple months ago and had to argue to get my free prints. I really don't want a similar experience with these ones.
I picked up my 40 prints today, painlessly. Easy as pie.
And the quality of their digital prints have definitely improved in a couple years since I last used CVS- they now use Kodak paper at my location, which IMO, looks much better than fujifilm brand paper.

thanks a bunch
mine didnt go quite as well as the others. the free prints doesnt automatically get taken off the price. there is a coupon code taped to the envelope of pics that must be scanned to get credit for the free prints. the clerk didn't notice it and neither did i since i was buying several other things. i had to go back later and get a $9 refund because they overcharged me. (i bought more than 50 pics). they acted real pissy about it too. like they didn't believe i could have gotten those prints free.
but even more disappointing was that the quality of these pictures were awful! i'm not a photo snob or even have any idea what is really good quality and what is not, but these were definitely NOT good.

My store did not print them. They were to be picked up after 5:34 but I went at 9:05 and they were not printed. They foudn the order and said since I already paid they would refund my money but i have to pick them up tomarrow because I did not have time to wait today. Not too good service for 1-2 hour! I bought 67 so paid for 26 additional prints! I hope they turn out OK. Mindy

So were mine.....terrible! At least they were free.</blockquote>
i had no problems with the prints picking them up went really smoothly and the pictures turned out even better than Snapfish. I am very happy with the quality and will continue to use them
Well, I picked up mine finally today adn they were OK. Not great quality, kind of dark. I was to get them free since they took so long, and when she tried to refund my $5.51 ( I ordered more than 40) She had to refund me the whole $12.53 my order would have cost. So I got $12 Cash Back plus my pictures! I used it to buy a bunch of stuff and got extra bucks for it. I ended up getting about $30 of credit/money to use at cvs later and free photos and snacks! Great deal for me! Thanks again.
JassieB said: For the paranoid: on another CVS photo thread on FW, someone pointed out the privacy policy for CVS photos. It basically said that CVS has the right to "own" any photos you print with their service, and they don't have to pay royalties. I think it protects their assets (in case a likeness appears in one of their ads, for example, or in case an employee steals the pictures and uses them to their own fun and profit).
I'm not paranoid, though.
I think the following is the item in question:
Terms of Service says on line 161: The Service and all of its content, including data, photographs, images, icons, software, and other elements, are owned or licensed by the Company or its suppliers. The Service and all of its content are protected by domestic and international copyright, trademark, and other laws. Without limiting the above, the entire content of the Service is, under domestic and international copyright laws, a collective work owned by the Company. Your use of the Service and its content does not transfer to you any ownership or other rights in the Service or its content.
I don't believe this is a problem. It seems to me they are covering their own website contents, which including some of their own photos that they either own or license from a photo mill. I would guess that if this was used to try and own photo submissions, the first sentence is already not true. Submitting photos for printing does not grant CVS a license to the photos.
But I am not a lawyer. Who knows what a lawyer can twist this into in court.
