I did buy a latte but they had a stack of cards on the counter.
if anyone grabs an extra code, maybe offer it here?
Question...is the code only valid for Starbucks Song-of-the-Day, or can it be redeemed for any song? Sorry, I was just unclear about that. TIA!

It sounds like they offer a specific song each day.

Hey-just curious-what WAS the song of the day-today? I can't seem to find a schedule anywhere online but I am sure they are probably following one.

Bob Dylan, "Jokerman"
Haven't tried it yet, but from the instructions sounds like a one-time use code that automatically downloads the Song of the Day. Download code expires 12/31/07.

10/2 - Bob Dylan, Jokerman

So, everyone knows song #1....any idea of the other songs.
Online I have only found song#1 and then the various Artists who will be allowing their song(s) to be downloaded but not days/Songs list.

I discovered after going to my local starbucks, that not all locations are participating in this promotion and giving away the codes.

I'm surprised that they're not all participating, as this has been widely publicized.
If anyone gets their hands on a list of the upcoming songs, I'd love to see it. Thanks!

Here is my prediction for the next few songs. If I'm correct, I'll update the remainder of the 37 days.
10/3 KT Tunstall, One Day 10/4 Joni Mitchell, Night of the Iguana 10/5 Keith Urban, I Told You So 10/6 Emily King, Moon 10/7 Mavis Staples, We Shall Not Be Moved
it'd be hot if these were good for downloading ANY song you like. all right, so, it's not an unlimited $0.99 deal.

I meant anymore news on the Song List they will be using.
And, I have joined and received my 5 free iTunes from Ticketmaster...but that is 5 songs and Starbucks provides 37 total songs (sure only certain ones, but Dylan and others are some good tunes)
Unless you meant something else altogether...like why would anyone want the Starbucks promotion or maybe why am I needing more KT Tunstall or something.

disneychrista said: Anyone NOT getting them in the order posted? For the most part I have gotten then as posted but I got Annie Lenux in place of the Keith Urban.
The posted order was a guess; although on the Keith Urban day I did receive the correct track. At another store this week they had a different song than what I was expecting. Perhaps the individual stores are mixing up what they should be putting out?
If anyone can please help me out I'd appreciate it.
[EDIT: I will also trade for items which are not at steet date yet]

I think you're right. One Sbux employee said they had the next day's song when they were looking for one I had asked about. Another store gave me the extra CeU on the day Band of Horses came out. So they do have more than one day at a time in the stores. The posted list in this forum looks like it was copied, right down to the line breaks, from the official list I saw on another site - can't remember if it was Sbux or iTunes site.
Some of the stores I've been to near closing time have a LOT of cards left over from that day. Hmmmmm, wonder what they're doing with all those??? I don't believe they are really throwing them all away like some employees have told me.

I created and posted the list here and SD. There is no official list on Starbucks or iTunes site; I extracted them from the HearMusic website. You can see the days up to today here, which match up to my predictions, so if you are receiving them in a different order it's due to a mixup by your store. Obviously, the cards aren't dated, and the stores surely have more than the current day's cards, so you could receive future days' cards through accident or apathy.

Better late than never...
I accidently stumbled upon your forum while trying to locate the missing songs from this offer. This was my first time downloading music...don't laugh, some of us *Boomers* are too busy to mess with this stuff...hence I wasn't aware that each card could only be used once. Gee, I would have kept all those extras instead of returning them to the store (I'm a *Greenie* hate waste).
I do have a John Mayer 9JXLT73Y3LLR
Anyway...
Based on your list at the top of the thread, these are the ones I'm missing. It's 10:24PM on the East Coast so I can still make the deadline.
11/7/07: Paul McCartney, Only Mama Knows 11/6/07: Sia, Day Too Soon 11/5/07: Suzanne Vega, Frank & Ava 11/4/07: Bebel Gilberto, Um Segundo 10/30/07: Federico Aubele - Maria Jose 10/29/07: Joss Stone - Tell Me ‘Bout It 10/28/07: Raul Midon - Pick Somebody Up 10/25/07: GreyBoy - Got to Be a Love 10/24/07: Bitter:Sweet - Heaven (Nicola Conte Remix) 10/22/07: Dave Matthews - Grace Is Gone 10/19/07: Alice Smith - New Religion 10/18/07: Brandi Carlile - Turpentine 10/17/07: Annie Lennox - Dark Road 10/11/07: A Fine Frenzy - You Picked Me 10/6/07: Emily King - Moon 10/5/07: Keith Urban - I Told You So 10/4/07: Joni Mitchell - Shine 10/2/07: Bob Dylan - Jokerman
Oh...and thank you to whoever thought to start this thread, much appreciated for any help. You can reach me at couture8@msn.com for my address, would love to have the cards too!
