edit: yeah, my roommate got it & i asked her what i did wrong & she said nothing. it even shows a diff. page than what my roomie got. wtf mate?

Worked for me! Before signing up at the url the op posted is a box advertising the 5 free songs if you sign up. Click, join, get free songs.
