Sorry, but you are wrong. It is not "differant"--it is a copy of the KJV. If you don't want missionaries to deliver it, that's fine. Having missionaries deliver it still does not change what translation of the Bible it is.

It is very evident that the Book of Mormon owes much to the King James Version. But it is NOT the KJV!!!! Like I said BOTH do the same job!! Joesph Smith used it as a base for his writing of the Book of Mormon!! He changed many of the KJV passages to the BM but also left alot out!! So therefore it is different!!

Example: KJV>> "For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up" (King James Bible: Malachi 4:1)

Book of Mormon>> "For behold, saith the prophet, ... the day soon cometh that all the proud and they who do wickedly shall be as stubble; and the day cometh that they must be burned" (1 Nephi 22:15)

like I stated, same message but different!!!

Perhaps you did not know, but the Book of Mormon and the Bible are two completely different books (different as in they are not the same book).

Debating the similarity of the messages contained in the books is an entirely different subject than whether the Book of Mormon and the Bible (any version, not just the KJV) are the same.

Continuing to spout off inaccuracies is not beneficial to anyone interested in receiving a free copy of the KJV Bible.

repost

It is the standard KJV bible.

If you're not interested in postings like this, just move on...

Looks like it doesn't come in the mail. My sister said they bring this in person. As fast as the next day.
