Thanks OP.

Note:

Applicants will be selected at random to receive tickets. Your chances of being chosen will depend on the number of applicants for each city and are not affected by how early or late you apply within the application period.

I love watching this show

Probably considered a contest, considering how the last three of these I've attended had people lining up out the door hours before the show.

Too bad I don't either. I'm about 250 miles away from the closest one--Dallas!

I love the TV shows that have had their characters go to the Antiques Roadshow. Frazier and Will and Grace shows both had hilarious episodes about it.

Hope I get picked - I would love to bring my mom. She is addicted to the show!! Not to mention, might be able to find out if the ugly vase she loves so much is worth anything then at least I could justify having it in the living room.

There are only a certain number of tickets available (of course) and ticket requests far outstrip the number of people who actually get tickets. A friend and I applied for tickets about four years ago when the roadshow came to our town and neither one of us got a pair of free tickets. We also had our friends and other family members who weren't going to the roadshow also apply for tickets in their own names to give to us should they get them and none of them got any tickets either. Nonetheless, I think it would be a fabulous experience to go, so apply for your own tickets, and if you have willing friends and family have them apply for tickets to share with you or give outright to you. Also, if you're really on your game and want to hit the road to the other towns, you (and any willing helpers) could apply for tickets to the other roadshow stops as well.
