No, it is not just for members. Print out the coupon. In the details, it clearly tells the cashier one way to enter the coupon if the customer is a member and alternate method to enter the coupon if the customer is not a member.

Thanks! Just got a "bonus" card in my visa rewards order where I ordered a gift card from a restaurant and got a "bonus" $10 gc for B&N, so, this will be nice to use with that

Not correct---on the coupon it says how to enter for non-members; I got a free one today in midtown Manhattan

I think the $0.53 is for the caramal syrup. Because I got charged for $0.5 plus tax for syrup too. Still very happy!
