When it comes to the things you buy for your family, road-tested advice from another mom can be crucial. That's why Parenting wants you to be one of our Mom Testers!

When products come up for review, if you're a match, we could contact you with an option to receive stuff to test (and keep, whether we print your review or not, of course!). All we'll ask is that you give us your honest opinion, good or bad. You may also be contacted for mom-related stories to be used in the magazine.

Items we'll need you to test could include:

Toys and games
Books, DVDs, CDs, or Video Games
Health products for babies, toddlers, or kids
Bath products for baby, toddlers, or kids
Health and beauty products for Mom
Gear: strollers, carriers, furniture, items for feeding and diapering, etc.

They do ask if you;re male or female for MOM tester....WHY?????

maybe for females who have children and get a sex change?

Actually they have a very bad habit of ignoring Dad's in their print magazine. It's like they are setting up the expectation that we don't and won't be heavily involved in raising our children. I'm waiting to see if they actually will let me into their research panel. I'll actually do the testing involved and such and will give opinions from a Dad's perspective. My fingers are crossed, but my hopes aren't all that high.

I got accepted. But I'm not sure if it's for one time only or for the rest of the year...

Righteous, Thanx Dee!

OMG I hope I get picked! That would be awesome!

Just so you know. Don't sign up if you're not a mom/parent. I signed up for one of these things back in college ("free stuff sponsored by parenting magazine") and ended up getting that magazine sent (free, without obligation or warning) into my school address...my roommates were amused
