Just letting you guys know, you can go to Costco or Sam's Club ANYTIME without membership and ask for a "tour". You don't have to have this "free" pass (it's just a marketing trick to make you think you're getting something).
Also, if you go on a day/hour when their pharmacy is open, just tell the door greeter you are there for the pharmacy. LEgally, they have to let you in for the pharmacy. Just do your tour then.

Sneaking in isn't the problem. You need to have a card/pass if you actually want to BUY something.

Just curious, don't they charge you a surcharge of 10 % if you just go in there and ...shop w/out a membership? I was told this some time ago....just wondering.

I have entered BJ's without a card many times since they often don't check and if they do, I use my old expired one. You can also say that you are going to customer service. I have purchased from the optical department with the expired card. They didn't seem to care or check. You can also buy cheap eats from the concession stand. I have used the one day pass to purchase some bakery items. For some reason, they did not add the surcharge which I was certainly willing to pay. At that time, the surcharge was only 5% not the ridiculous 15% that they are charging now.

The several BJs that I go to don't check the card on the way in. There is usually a person standing there checking people who are leaving. Costco asks for your card when you enter the store.
