10% Surcharge applied, except in CA, TN...*YMMV*

Thanks!

Do you have to pay the surcharge?

This is better than free BJ's!

JorgeBurrito said: Do you have to pay the surcharge?Free pass offered by Sam's recently, the surcharge has been waived. Please check here, and here... i guess this one e-mailed to you will pretty much be the same... Please give us feedback if i'm wrong...

Updates: 10% surcharge will apply... Thanks member "maynard7" for the feedback...

On the pass it says you have to pay 10% extra. I think I'd rather just go with a friend who's already a member and not pay that surcharge.

gracias senior/a OP

Thanks SS, you Posting All-Star you!

Thanx!!

Gosh! I would definitely appreciate if they invite a day pass for Costco also !

Just letting you guys know, you can go to Costco or Sam's Club ANYTIME without membership and ask for a "tour". You don't have to have this "free" pass (it's just a marketing trick to make you think you're getting something).

Also, if you go on a day/hour when their pharmacy is open, just tell the door greeter you are there for the pharmacy. LEgally, they have to let you in for the pharmacy. Just do your tour then.

Sneaking in isn't the problem. You need to have a card/pass if you actually want to BUY something.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! LMAO.

No Surcharge in California

freakin sweet, thanks

I'm in Tennessee and I went shopping yesterday on the free pass. NO SURCHARGE!!!

Thanks, 'OP'

Just curious, don't they charge you a surcharge of 10 % if you just go in there and ...shop w/out a membership? I was told this some time ago....just wondering.

Thank you OP!

I have entered BJ's without a card many times since they often don't check and if they do, I use my old expired one. You can also say that you are going to customer service. I have purchased from the optical department with the expired card. They didn't seem to care or check. You can also buy cheap eats from the concession stand. I have used the one day pass to purchase some bakery items. For some reason, they did not add the surcharge which I was certainly willing to pay. At that time, the surcharge was only 5% not the ridiculous 15% that they are charging now.

Is pass delivered via email or snail?

The several BJs that I go to don't check the card on the way in. There is usually a person standing there checking people who are leaving. Costco asks for your card when you enter the store.

Any current offers? This one is expired.

Edit - answered my own question, expires November 1:
