I am not sure if this qualifies as a free offer or not but I have been spending a lots of money for making internaitonal calls. Now free 411 has launched a service which you can use to make free international calls for 5 minutes per call. It's ok for me because most of the times I need to call friends and tell them that I am online on Skype and waiting for them to join. So 5 minutes sound good to me. Even if it is not of any use it wasn't any harm

Sorry, links to blogs are not allowed. Feel free to write out the information needed to explain the deal. Thanks for understanding.

Are you seriously a senior member? You did not say how to make calls. A link would have helped here. RED for you!!!!!

oops!! sorry that was a mistake but you sound little too harsh!! it seems you are at the last level of your name Mr. "new member". But yes point well taken. It was a blog link and I was wondering if that would be ok to share here on FW (by experience you see ), but anyways here is the source of this information:

I take my reds back!!

the blog says it is for India, is it only for india?

I don't think so.
confirmed now!! check the comments on that blog.

really nice, it doesn't work in syria, as with most other free call services, but works in most locations. Thanks OP!

There is one more link on that blog to get free calls for one hour to India. I am in. Double thank you OP.

you have to listen to all the menu choices, then say "free call"
then you have to listen to an ad
then a British lady says to dial the number you're calling (including the country code)
It worked to Peru! It sounded much clearer than the usual cheap service I use.

Doesn't that call for a green to OP?

Thanks OP. Worked for Taiwan (it says anywhere in the world). I got a very brief WalMart ad to listen to.

I wish FW atleast can be one place where desis dont diss, pull down and hit out at each other unlike the real world. Share your finds, be nice to one another and dont haggle over reds & greens.
