FREE FLU SHOTS TO BE GIVEN TODAY (TUESDAY) OUTSIDE OF PNC PARK (PITTSBURGH) - SOURCE


People will be able to get FREE FLU SHOTS outside PNC Park on Tuesday, the Allegheny County Health Department announced.

The Health Department is partnering with the County Immunization Coalition and the state Department of Health to provide 1,000 seasonal influenza vaccinations from 5 to 7 p.m. before the Pirates game against the Chicago Cubs.

The vaccine is for the regular flu, not the H1N1 swine flu strain.

Interviews with health officials about the importance and safety of flu shots and other vaccinations will be played during the broadcast of the game.
