if youve any questions contact Luszcz, Corinne <Corinne.Luszcz@mountsinai.org>

Thank you for contacting me about the prostate cancer survey. I will give you some information about the study and if you decide that you are interested in participating, please give me a call or email.

We are doing a study to look at treatment decision-making in men who have been treated for prostate cancer and experience a rising prostate specific antigen (PSA) level following their treatment.

To qualify for this study you must:

-Have received treatment for prostate cancer. This includes prostatectomy or radiation therapy (such as external radiation or brachytherapy)

-Have a rising PSA level

Your participation in the study would involve completed and returning four questionnaires that we will send you. You will receive $10 for every completed questionnaire.

Please give me a call or email if you decide that you want to participate or if you have any questions about the study.

Thank you,

Mount Sinai Medical Center
New York, NY

Pyee, do you have prostate cancer? I mean I'm all for making some extra cash, but lying about medical conditions in order to qualify? These are legitimate medical research surveys that you are skewing in order to make a fast buck. Please, tell that I'm wrong on this and I'll happily apologize, but if you are doing this, then it's just wrong. The data collected from these surveys could make the lives better of people who are actually sick. I don't and won't lie on these surveys. If that means I make a little extra cash from time to time, then great. But if I don't qualify then I'm not going to selfishly invalidate a study for my own financial gain, and a small one at that.

Well said Wineaux. Thank you
