FYI, they would like you to do this in return: 1. Sign up and plant your sunflower 2. Describe your garden 3. Time how long it takes 5 bees to visit your sunflower plant 4. Enter your data online or send us your form. They are trying to keep track of bees - a very noteworthy experiment considering all that is going on with the declining honeybee population. I'll have to pass since my backyard is my apiary and there would constantly bee more than five bees on these!

Welcome to the Great Sunflower Project. We are no longer mailing seeds out for 2009. We are developing our plans for 2010 and will send you an email in early January to get everyone revved up for spring! In 2010, we will once again be using annual Lemon Queen sunflower seeds. You can buy them at places ranging from Target to our local nursery. We will include you on our list for 2010 so, please do confirm your password. We're so glad you are joining us. Thank you for registering at The Great Sunflower Project.
