Superbowl Commercial conifrmed it. They used to do it, retired it, and are bringing it back.

I thought that it was a free breakfast on Denny's birthday this month? I didn't watch the game (or commercials) but I remember hearing this last week sometime.

So what consists of your "birthday." I've never been in a Denny's before 2AM

and

Free burger and fries to the first 500,000 online registrants sent out via email on February 28, 2010 http://dennys.promo.eprize.com/freegrandslam/

I have not been to Denny's for about 7-8 years now. It used to be one of our favorite eat out places. Their food and service quality were getting worse and worse. First off, they use canned veggie to go with entree, not even from frozen bagged, so the green bean and peas are soggy and soft. Second, we had to wait very long to get our food though it's was not crowded.

It's a free Grand Slam on YOUR birthday. Denny's apparently always had a free Grand Slam breakfast on your BD?

Denny's used to be famous for a free grand slam on your b-day. But, they did away with it. They're bringing it back .

Also Free GS this coming Tuesday from 6am-2pm!

I've always liked their food but the prices have increased so much. The best deal, IMHO, was the Play it Again Slam.

What if my birthday is February 9th??

Ask for a Double GS!

My birthday was last month... this is uncool.

What's "free" about it? So you don't have to pay to sit an hour through a depressing parade of the nation's morbidly obese, bellying up to the trough and eating food that you could easily prepare yourself with a modicum of expense and effort to better quality...there's nothing "free" about it.

cool story bro

if you don't like it, you don't have to eat it, no need to threadcrap just because of your personal opinion

If you don't like what I have to say (which discusses more the merits of the deal than the 3 posts that precede it), then either get a sense of humor or skip it.

oh, very clever, except you just made a circular argument that shows your hypocrisy

plain and simple, if you don't like the deal, ignore it and move on

but whatever, keep adding fuel to the fire, i don't really care

Then you go on February 9th and have a nice free breakfast. Unlike many other birthday promotions, Denny's does not make February 9th an exception.

Man, my birthday was the 29th!!!!!!!!! they didn't send me anything about breakfast- just dessert with purchase, good they bring back!- sucks if birthday was January

Sure would suck if your birthday was Feb 29.

sure would suck to go to denny's on your birthday.

This free grand slam is for everyone tomorrow-2/9
from 6am to 2pm per their website. I have seen this on
other boards too & it doesnt have to be on your birthday.

Your post is not funny. A sense of humor would not help.

got there about 12.15pm lots of people in line probably maybe 45-1hr wait. Didn't feel like waiting so walked up to the counter and i asked for a rain check. No problem was given one and will come back when less crazy.

The rain check coupon expires 2/19 and can only be used Mon-Fri.

Don't forget endless Pancakes

Denny’s will provide free refills to any order of French fries or pancakes at participating
locations nationwide. In addition to the Free Original Grand SlamŽ giveaway and the sweepstakes, Denny’s is
distinguishing itself from its competitors with a limited time generous offer starting February 10th that takes refills beyond
beverages and gives more everyday value to customers.

After signing up I recv'd a coupon for 20% total check (no mention of a free burger and fries). I must not have been one of the 1st 500,000

Confirmed free GSB at San Diego.

It sucks. You have to have a companion to get free breakfast. The waitress told me that after I ate the breakfast, I ended up paying for it. The breakfast tasted like cardboard and it didn't worth $6.
