Or you can buy 4 toothpastes at $3.50 each (get $14 back in +Ups), then the next day buy 3 more (get $10.50 Ups and a $10 Up) for a $10 moneymaker. This works because of the RA glitch (where you can exceed the +Up limit) and because the spending totals round up on each receipt.

A scenario w/o any coupons??? Here's mine (transacted yesterday):
Buy 1 Colgate Toothpaste. Use $0.35 MQ and $0.50 VV Q. $2.65 OOP; spawns $3.50 +UP. Buy 3 Colgate Toothpaste. Use $0.35 + 2 x $0.25 MQ and $3.50 +UP. $6.15 OOP; spawns $10.50 +UP. (Spend $10.50 +UP on three 12-packs of Coke, since that takes off 6% sales tax in PA. That's better than using it on toothpaste which is not taxable. $0.51 OOP; spawns $3 +UP.) (four hours later) Buy 3 Colgate Toothpaste. Use $0.50 MQ (last coupon in my inventory) and $3 +UP from Coke. $7.00 OOP; spawns - Two "bonus" $3.50 +UP from Coke - $10 Advil +UP - $20 Winter Savings +UP (since that just happened to go over the $100 threshold on this transaction)
Observations:
- The Advil deal must "round up." Since 7*$3.50 is only $24.50 (less than the $25 threshold), the two transactions with an odd number of products must count for the next higher dollar. That explains why my receipt shows $1 towards the "next" Advil +UP. - Given the mfr and VV coups, and the bonus +UPs, the Colgate alone ended up a $8.80 MM ($24.50 total price - $2.20 coups - (6*3.50 + 10) in +UPs).
There's also the effect of "transferring" the +UPs from a nontaxable purchase to a taxable one ($0.63 savings) and the net 20% savings on the Winter Savings +UP, and I figure I did pretty well.

Only +UP I didn't get which I should have is a $10 +UP for Diabetes.. I had previously purchased 2 Advil 100 ct a few weeks back (2x $7.99) which should have started me at $16 tracking. Then I bought 10 Colgate Total Advanced Gum Defense 5.8 oz which should have been another $36 towards Diabetes. My current tracking should be $52.. I guess I'll have to call CS for that..

Assuming you could get 5 - $5 off coupons (or willing to settle for a few $4 or $3 ones), and 5 - $4 VV coupons, then this looks like the best way to do this:
This week buy 3 14-ct Prevacid. Get back $10 +UPs
Next week, buy 2 42-ct Prevacid. Get back $12 +UPs.
Note: MIR for Prevacid expires on 2/26/12. So everything must completed on Sunday (2/26). Purchase, Return/Rebuy, etc...

RA just gets funnier and funnier. Remember Thermacare last week? It was $4 +Up wyb 2? We were buying 3 and getting 2 $4 +Up, limit 4? So then RA invalidated all the $4 +Up and changed the promo to buy one TC get one $2 +Up, limit 8. I maxed out. Got 8 +Up whether it be 2 as a $4 or 1 as a $2 one. Well tonight those $2 are scanning for $4! Last week the $4 didn't scan then if numbers were punched in they took off $2. Adjustment to make it $4 done. Today the $2 are scanning for $4. I pointed it out. AM's shrugged and let them go through. Yesterday they scanned for $2.
I bought 4 Colgate on Sunday and 3 today. Got all 3 +Up so bonus is not dead.
Prevacid turns out to be $29.99 at my store and when I buy w/o discount I get the $10 +Up. So bought 2 on 2 different cards w/o discount. Will return rebuy for clean receipt. So $29.99 - $4 RAq - $5 ip - $10 +Up = $10.99 x 2 = $21.98 and get back $29 for $8 MM

You can use the free promo code and can also select the store pick-up option making this mousepad completely free. Yippee!
Through tomorrow, February 24th, Rite Aid is offering up a FREE single image Mouse Pad (a $9.99 value!). This would make the perfect gift for Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or any day for that matter.
Here’s what you need to do:
First, Head on over to the Rite Aid Video Values site and watch the “Fuji-Rite Aid Photo-Save $9.99″ video (this will take less than 2 minutes). Then just follow the directions below…
* After you watch the video, head over to the Rite Aid Picture Center * Create an account or log in to your existing account * Click on “Photo Gifts” and then select “Mousepads” * Choose the $9.99 Mousepad * Upload your image (you can even choose from 4 different themes like sports or live, laugh, love) * Add the mousepad to your cart * Head to checkout and be sure to choose in-store pick-up (if you prefer to have the items ship to your home, your shipping costs will be $5.95) * Enter the promo code FREEPAD that you received after you watched the Video on the Video Values site * Final Cost $0 for a custom photo mousepad shipped to your local store (a $9.99 value!)

Thanks for mentioning this. I recd two cpns for the free test kits so this would be the time to use one of them for the ups back offer and hold off on the other one to see what deal may be in the final week of February before expiring.

How do you get the cholesterol screening for obtaining 500 points? Do you have to call them up and request it? I reached 500 points last year and never heard a peep from Rite Aid regarding the free health screening.

In 2010, they sent the form by snail mail to get the check done at well known diagnostics center at free of cost. In 2011, they sent coupons for home test.

Is the FREE test kit with the $5 ups a limit of one per card? I have two cpns, used one today on my 20% off card (cpn adjusted down after disc) but the receipt is in the trunk now. I plan to go out to get the other test kit but wanted to know if I could use the same card or not?
Also, the Foster Grant ups %15 vs $7.50 fiasco, I used two this morning and they deducted $15 for both. Looks like it was automatically. If so, nice of RA to honor it (now) but not nice to have put people thru the act of them deducting $7.50 each!

In the case of the test kit, I got my second one using the same card, later in the day, and recd the $5 ups AND THEN the limit reached message. So, LIMIT TWO for that. I did see the limit mentioned on the yellow shelf tag.
I accidentally also got a Brainstorm on this same card having gotten one earlier along with the $13 ups. First receipt had no mention of limit reached. Second receipt did not print a $13 ups (Shouldn't as the ad states limit one) but did print the limit reached message. So, how is one to know whether to buy an additional item if relying soley upon a limit reached message on the receipt? Finding out AFTER going over the limit is pretty useless. I sure wish RA would get their act together...all of these problems can not be THAT hard to manage, right? I will have ot return the extra Brainstorm today along with determining if I was overcharged on Twizzlers last night. The sign said $1 each. I got two and was charged either 1.50 or 1.51 each. Same thing with the RA Brand bags of candy on the pegs. Sign said .99 each got charged 1.50 or 1.49 each. These were not the "must buy two" type deals.
Still have several $15 ups to use up from the eyeglass deal and they expire this week. Hope I can find something simple and easy...
