I watched the video and it shows $4 off. in the rewards page it shows $3. I'm not sure how much it will take when we try to scan this.
deal scenario ( YMMV)
buy 3 * 14 ocunt = $11.99 *3 = $35.97 - 3* $4 IPQ - 3* $3 VV - $10 UP = $4.97 for 42 count and may be money maker if you have 10 or 20 % discount which most of you have already are. At this way I don't have to deal with Prevacid check.
Note: Passion124's is a better deal as you get 2 * 42 count and it is MM, but got to wait for that check from prevacid.

Hoping for some GREAT, EASY and SIMPLE deals to use up the pile of $15 ups from the eyeglasses deal this week!

I have problem printing the $4 MQ , it says the limit reached.
In their website they say 2 prints per month. I remember printing mine 2 months ago.

depends on whether you have the coupons but here's a way to use up 3 FG $15 +Up per Wellness card:
4 Colgate toothpaste @ $3.50 ea = $14
2 Vaseline lotion @ $2.97 ea = $5.94
- 4 $0.75/1 Colgate
- 2 $1/1 Vaseline
= $14.94 + cherry/Airhead/clearance valentines day candy
pay w/ FG $15 +Up and get back 4 $3.50 Colgate, 2 Vaseline $2 for ~ break even after sales tax
submit the receipt for $5 wyb $10 Colgate MIR

if things still work as they have been working, then next day
3 Colgate @ $3.50 ea
1 Brainstrong Toddler $13
- 3 $0.75/1 Colgate
- $2/1 Brainstrong
= $19.25
pay w/ $15 FG and $4 Thermacare
get back $10 Advil/Colgate $10 wyb $25 +Up, 3 $3.50 Colgate +Up, $13 Brainstrong +Up
submit receipt for $5 wyb $10 Colgate MIR
Add Brainstrong Gummies and a filler for total >$30 and pay w/ 2 FG +Up instead of a $4 Thermacare.

day #3:
2 Colgate @ $3.50 ea
Brainstrong Kids Citrus Gummies (30ct)Shelf/Silver/Gold Price: $12.99/$11.69/$10.39
- 3 $0.75/1 Colgate
- $2/1 Brainstrong
pay w/ $15 FG
get back 2 $3.50 Colgate and submit for $10 Brainstrong SCR
I don't have any Brainstrong ip's but still worth doing this w/ a Gold card

There is a coupon for $5 off of the Prevacid available here: Prevacid 24hr offer
It allows one print per computer. Problem is if you have already printed the $4 off coupon, you probably won't be able to print this one.

The other potential problem is I'm not sure this deal will work at all for either the 14 ct or the 42 ct. The picture in the ad is the 28 ct. The text of the ad says "$10 +UP when you buy $30 of this item". If the 42 ct or the 14 ct were included, I would think there would be a picture of those too. So I'm thinking we'll have to wait for reports from southern california tomorrow if this deal will work with other Prevacid besides the 28 ct.

IF this deal works with the 14 ct. It will be $9.59 for gold price. You'll have to buy all 3 in seperate transactions ($9.59 will round up to $10 that way).

$9.59
-$5 coupon
-$3 or $4 VV coupon?
=$1.59 or $2.59

Do that 3 times for the rounding and you'll have atleast a $2.23 MM (depending; I have no idea what the actual value of the VV coupon is).

Thanks Passion 124, I was able to print the $5 coupon. Let's wait and see what SC customers reply tomorrow.

Thanks my4mainecoons for those detailed deals. Too bad I don't have a large chunk of those cpns though. Anyone know how the FG eyeglasses ups are spitting out today? I have a card with 3 ups recds days ago and another one with 4 ups also days ago. Not sure if I should try getting more based upon the $15 ups for each pair now. Any early reports of the day?!?!

It had been reported in another board that $15 fg ups are ringing up for $7.50 each.

Hi, hot2004. Can you tell me what other board did you see this at?

hot2004 said:   It had been reported in another board that $15 fg ups are ringing up for $7.50 each.

you know, RA has a lot of nerve doing that crap. Just like when they invalidated peoples $20 Vanilla Visa up.

I'd suggest if a store refuses to honor the full $15 up, then return the glasses and ask for the value back on a merchandise credit.

Yes, while there were glitches, many of us did max out on the offer legitimately and shouldn't be penalized for their never ending screw ups.

They need to hire people like me to fix all the messes done by their IT team.

I guess I need to go buy all of the 1/2 off summer items I can use now! Not much else I have come up with that I can EASILY use these amts on.

Didn't see this mentioned yet...

$0.50 coupon from the Wellness+diabetes book good on Colgate Total, which should stack with a MQ for a bigger MM.

There is a way to make an extra $10 off this Colgate deal:

Colgate Toothpaste Total Advanced (5.8 to 6 oz.) or Sensitive (6 oz.), $3.50
Get $3.50 +UP Reward (Limit 4)
$0.75/1 Colgate Optic White, Total Advanced or Sensitive Pro-Relief, exp. 3/3/12 (SS 02/12/12 R)

There is a monthly $10 +UP wyb $25 includes Advil, Robitussin, Dimetapp, Thermacare, Colgate and Softsoap. So what you need to do is buy 4 Colgates and then wait a time period (usually several hours works) and then buy 3 more. You will get all 7 of the $3.50 +UPs and because your tracking will be at $24.50 it will be rounded up to $25 and you will get the Advil monthly +UP which will score you another free $10.

Unless you have already done it 4 times already you are good, you can do the $10 +UPs on $25 4 times until 3/6/12.You can do the $10 Ups on $25 4 times until 3/6/12.

But with the Thermacare +UP invalidation and the $15 glasses +UPs ringing at half-price, I wonder if Rite Aid would try to do something to these extra +UPs? I guess if you hang on to your sales receipt, when you get around to using the +UPs and they don't work you could always return the toothpaste and get your money back (a hassle but a good safety net).

Mr. V--

the limit is 4 on the colgate, won't you get "limit offer reached" message after 4? worst case, if you get three more, you may not get any more $3.50 ups, but will get the $10up making the last 3 free.

I bought 4 last night and I didn't get any notice on my receipt that I have reached the max. It has been confirmed by at least two people on SD that they bought 4 and then bought 3 more got all 7 $3.50 +UPs plus the $10 +UP. I am about ready to go out and buy 3 more and I will report back my results later tonight.

See below a quote from SD:

trans 1 (yesterday) bought 4 Colgate got 4 ups. Trans 2 today bought 3 Colgate and got back 3 ups plus $10 Advil even total 2 trans only $24.50. Awesome

Yes, you get the limit reached message but you ignore it. Example was Up2U gum Bought 12, got 6 +Up. The next day bought 8, got 4 +Up and limit reached message. Next day bought 2, got 1 +Up and Limit Reached message. These may not be the exact numbers but you get the idea: Limit Reached message appears after the first transaction but you ignore it. The key is you have to buy the maximum on the first transaction and subsequent transactions are one less. Did the same thing w/ Stayfree. In the case of Colgate 4-3-2-1. For the Vaseline lotion since its limit 2, first transaction of 2 second transaction just 1.

The Colgate is factored into the scenarios I posted earlier in the thread and is why I bought so many Colgate coupons My paper actually had $1/1 Colgate but folks were charging too much for them on bay. I got $0.75/1 for ~ $0.10 ea w/ shipping.

I don't doubt you all.....just leery of RA pulling stunts with the up's everytime a promo prints out more than they decide....and killing the up, making it worth less than the value (thermacare is a good example).

Have lost a lot of confidence in their system recently between the Vanilla Visa UP, Thermacare/Foster Grant ups this week. Think I'll just be cautious for now. but thnx for the replies.

Confirmed that I got the +UPs as I explained you would, but you are right Mister Cheap I hope the +UPs will actually ring up at the amount on the +UP when I get around to redeeming them. If not they will all go back to the store.

When I initially bought 4 Colgates it did not print on my receipt that I reached the limit, but after I bought 3 more tonight it printed on the receipt that I have reached the limit.

I think the glory days at Rite Aid are now over. I can still remember all the great unlimited deals there right after the Wellness program and +UPs were introduced, but those days are gone forever I fear.

EDIT: If you still have Colgate coupons left and you want even more Colgate, you can even make a 3rd transaction. Confirmed from SD: Colgate trans #3 (approx 7 hours after trs #2) purchased two TP and received 2 more ups as expected.

Buy 2 Prevacid 42 ct. Shelf Price $28.99, gold price $23.19

$46.38 (2x $23.19 gold)
-$8.00 (2x $4.00 Internet Print)
-$6.00 (2x $3.00 February VV)
-$10.00 (+UP WYB $30 - limit 1)
-$23.19 (Mail in Rebate 1/29 SS)
=$.81 MM

Note: Should include a return/rebuy to submit with a clean receipt with no coupon use.

The Feb 2012 Prevacid VV is for $4.

Prevacid 14ct worked like a dream - $9.59 Gold price rounded & tracked as $10 even in each transaction.

Prevacid Spend $30 get $10+UP Limit1 *B&S
$5 off here [prevacid24hroffer.com]
Prevacid $4 off here [coupons.com]
$4/1 Feb VV

Off topic but yesterday I finally got a check for $3.11 for doing the Lysol wipes MIR. I had bought them at Rite Aid and for some reason on the receipt it was saying the wrong count from what I actually bought (I think the rebate was for 35 ct, but on the receipt it printed 28 ct even though I had bought the 35 ct), so I called Lysol Consumer Relations at the time and they said to write a note and enclose it and write the UPC from what I actually bought on the receipt. It took them nearly 3 months but I finally got the money in the mail.

(I tried to find the MIR thread for this but couldn't, so I just posted it here because I had bought my wipes at Rite Aid and they had the count issue.)

The one thing I've learned is to shop early on Sunday. They usually don't figure these things out until rest of the country hits the stores and they see sales spikes. I'm not defending them but in the case of the Vanilla Visa they didn't change the value of the +Up, they stopped it from printing and they did it on the first day (exc. SoCal). The ones we received scanned for full value. The FG and Thermacare were different. Really bad move to try to change things in the middle of the day, in the middle of the sales week, without testing, etc. As one person said, you don't try to fix a car while its speeding down the highway, you put it in the garage. Their attempt to fix things "live" resulted in generating one +Up per item purchased. They couldn't fix that so they cut the value of the +Up in half. I'm not sure that's legal. If they're printing a coupon that says its for $15 it damn well better be for $15!

I don't have Wags or CVS so I deal w/ RA. I can't complain cuz I made good money last week and will do well this week. OTH if they make loading +Up to cards mandatory, I'm done.

Is it better to buy 3 14-ct Prevacid or 2 42-ct? Is buying 2-42 ct and one 14-ct the best MM?

if you have 20% and don't want to deal with MIR then 3 * 14 ct may be better deal. if you scan thru the thread there is quite a few message on this.
9.59(20%) -$5 coupon -$4 VV = $.59 OOP repeat 3 diff transaction and get back $10 UP finally almost $8.xx MM.

I read the deals but I was thinking of doing a hybrid but maybe I'll do one of each

Yes, you better do both or MORE.
But for others, whoever wants to do only one of them, I prefer MIR as you can CASH out, I lost faith on RA +UPs. Also sometimes, it's difficult to roll the UPs.

The limit is one on the Prevacid deal. So you would be foolish to do both (on the same wellness card). The 42 ct Prevacid will give you $46 tracking towards the $30 (even more without gold) and both 42 ct Prevacid must be on the same receipt (per the terms of the MIR). Since the limit is one that extra $16 won't carry over to the next deal.

For optimum value, It should be one or the other (per wellness card of course).

Make sure to do on different cards limit is 1 per card.
I did 3* 14 count deal and end with $8.xx MM. I thougt of MIR route but my store is nowaday difficult to return item with are bought on UPs. I thought of saving that for another occasion.

between FG last week and Colgate this week I have too many +Up. Looking for ways to cash them out and Prevacid MIR looks good especially since I don't have lots of vv accts. (yeah, I know...) My previous experience w/ Prevacid MIR was that you absolutely need a "clean" receipt-- only got $0.69 back

I wonder what would happen if you paid cash then said, oops I forgot I have +Up and did a return rebuy in that order?

Once I remember they took the old recipt and gave me only the return receipt for me, so YMMV on that. if they get the old receipt to keep it and nothing mentioned about return then you are good to go.

For me, they always give me back my old receipts, but write "returned" (sometimes with date & initial) on the receipt.

This is for TODAY only. Potentially a way to cash out about $5 in +UPs (YMMV).

Maybe not the best deal, but probably worth mentioning anyway:

Tylenol Precise is $5.99 and there is a $5 off coupon in this week's Red Plum (regional).

$5.99
-$5.00
=$.99

It's been reported on SD, that the coupon beeps saying it must be done as a post-coupon. This is because this coupon is a One week only coupon, expires 2/26. Technically since 2/26 is 8 days away, it will not let you use this TODAY, except as post-coupon. Someone from SD had purchased it with +UPs, then did a post coupon and got $5 Cash Back.

The catch is that there is a fee of $.99 to do this though. You can go to Walgreens and it is on sale for $5, so free with coupon. I guess if you dont' have a Walgreens in your area then that's a moot point.

I *think* it was our very own Roy7736 who bought the 3. I thought about running out to do it and decided it wasn't worth it: $2 for the paper (if ours even has the coupon) and $0.99 for the patches. $3 to cash out a $5 +Up wasn't worth it.

It appears that the Rite Aid ad has a misprint in it regarding the monthly deal this week. It states in the ad that there is a $10 WYB $30 deal (which was assumed to be a weekly deal–because the monthly deal that is in-store is $10 wyb $25)

It has been confirmed that there is not two seperate deals, just one.

Don’t get me started on my Soap box. I’ll just keep quiet about this one

These were not the "must buy two" type deals. The signs were most likely for this week's sale (Twizzler is $1 this week). It's a pain shopping on Saturday ... old signs are pulled and new signs are up.
