Lately we've had posts about various items on clearance at RA. Clutters the forum to have so many individual posts.
So here's a thread just for clearance deals. These are items that scan at clearance price, not the green stickered ones that require Price Modification.

In addition to Simplify tp, other clearance items the week of April 1 are:
Revlon nail polish- the scented ones and Top Speed #810 & #640 & one other are clearance priced. Buy 2. Use the $1/1 Revlon np tp (on glass end caps in RA) or the $1/1 insert coupon. Pay $0.19 or $0.49 ea and receive $3 +Up. Limit one per card.

Organix bath/beauty products are in same area as the Daily Necessities bath products. Some Cherry Blossom and Coconut products are 75% off. Buy 2 cheap ones and pay ~$5 or less, get back $5 +Up. Not a great MM but good way to roll +Up. This deal good for the month as is the Daily Necessities. Limit 4 per card.

Daily Necessities: The only bubble baths that work for the deal are Sparkling Peach & Sweet Berry. Cucumber and Vanilla scan at full price. All bath salt scents work. I have Vanilla, Jasmine, Berry, Peach, Linen. Berry body lotion works. The shower gels are not on sale. Limit 4 +Up per card.

Simplify tp 25% off and 50% off in my stores

Easter clearance
SM told me the mark downs were
50% on the 8th
75% on the 22nd

Thanks Maine, green for you, bought 2 DN peach bubble bath for $1.49 *2 and got back $5 UP.
I found 1 salt in 1 store and 1 bubble bath in another store. Is the deal $5UP when you buy 2 is for identical items? also is it tracked so when I buy seperately I will get $5 UP?

Deal is buy 2 so its not tracked. I suppose you could buy a salt in one store and return & rebuy in the store w/ the bubble bath if that's all you can find.

I've been holding on to my Reese's PB egg coupons just waiting for after-Easter sales.

Easter candy is 50% off.
I got 2 Reese's eggs, used $0.50/2 vv from March (?) and $0.50/2 tp. Free eggs.

Rite Aid is doing some 75% markdowns in their food section! This means super deals! You might want to walk down the grocery section in your Rite Aid next time you are there. Remember not all Rite Aid stores may have the same deals. These are just the ones I found at my store today.

From a reliable source at RITE AID,

Easter candy/baskets will go to 75% off starting 4/22 (sunday).

if you can wait another 9 days, that's when you'll start to see some nice deals on what's left.

I bought 2 Daily Necessities bath salts today. They rang up 75% off but no $5 +Up.
Lots of Reese's PB eggs in my stores but the pastel Skittles are all gone.

The Easter candy and decorations/craft items were 50% off when I went Saturday the 14th. Mostly egg dying and decorating, plus a few household decor items. The candy was largely the cheap fake chocolate Palmer stuff. You couldn't pay me to buy or eat that stuff. Nasty! I did find a few good finds: Russel Stover White Chocolate Bunny's with Peanut-butter Cream filling. There were only 2, and I bought both. Also, about a dozen bags of the mini Reeses's Peanut Butter Eggs. I bought 2. There were 4 Only Hearts Club mini plush animals, I bought 2 of them, Cluck the Duck and King the Lion. The other two were a teddy bear and a monkey. I bought them for props for a doll. They are small (about 1Ĺ to 2 inches tall. They have velcro on their palms, so you can link them together, and the boxes have a small plastic carabiner clip you can remove and attach to a loop on the back of the toys. You could put them on a neck chain, keychain, zipper pull or shoelace. What was left besides the fake chocolate were jellybeans, gummies and some Cadbury eggs, and a few Snickers regular and Peanut Butter eggs. Also a few bags of Butterfinger and Nestle Crunch eggs, Cadbury chocolate mini eggs (bought 1), russel Stover and Hershey milk and dark chocolate bunnies, M&M's in asst varieties, and a few Mars bags with Snickers, 3 Musketeers, Milky Way and Twix minis. I'm betting the better stuff will be gone by the 22nd, YMMV.

The Rite Aid I went to has been selling a number of hair care items reduced to 50 to 75% off; shampoo, conditioner, color kits, various treatments. I didn't see anything I'd use. One shelf was full of mens flannel lounge pants. There has been a few expired/discontinued supplements there.

4/22 update- Only the plushies are on clearence for 75%. The candies are ringing up 50%.

The Rite Aids here still have lots of Easter stuff, and the signs still say 50% off. I went to the one by SuperFresh. There was a bin near the door just full of candy. Most of it is Palmer and Dairy Good fake chocolate junk. There were a few bags of Cadbury mini eggs. They had more of the Snickers eggs, bought a bunch of the peanutbutter ones. Found a bag of Limited Edition Lindt Truffles (White Chocolate w/milk-chocolate truffle filling). Some items had stickers on them, and signs seemed to indicate the price is 50% off sticker price, I will need to check my receipt and see if that was the case. Found some Russel Stover eggs I liked, a lone Cadbury Creme egg, a bag of fruit-flavored Brach's Jelly beans. Most of the jelly beans were Lemonheads ones or Brachs spiced. In an aisle were two boxes of Snickers eggs full of individual eggs, along with several baskets and dozens of egg dye kits. I'm just surprised that 1) there is so much (The local WAGS long cleared out their stuff and 2) why the prices aren't cheaper?

Anybody else still seeing Easter clearance in stores?

Back of store, was a bin full of Hair and Beauty items. Lots of Hair Color kits. Some bath and shower soaps and gels, a few other beauty-related items. I bought a bottle of foot lotion for removing dry dead skin. These items were 50%.

ETA: The stickers are the 50% off price, probably because they won't scan anymore. And thinking about it, the checker was keying in the Easter stuff, rather than simply scanning it.

Saw one of these at my store, but was 50% off ($2.30), not 75%. Definitely a YMMV deal. The clearance rack has pretty much the same stuff I saw 2 weeks ago, at least a dozen packages of mens flannel lounge pants.

The atores here in So Cal also have their Easter candy at only 50% off. I wonder when the Easter leftovers will hit 75% off.

I live in New Castle County Delaware, and there are at least 2 Rite Aids within walking distance. And many more, as there is a large University here. If your stores are as loaded with as much Easter stuff as here, at some point they've got to reduce it more to move it. It's mostly cheap junk at this point, was surprised to find a few decent items this late. That big bin near the door has always been the holiday clearance bin, where they eventually dump whatever is left on the shelves.

We have a step up from the cheap junk: M&M's, Hershey's, Starburst, Cadbury and Reese's eggs but no Dove truffle eggs There isn't another big candy holiday until Halloween so I guess no rush to move it.

Did this week's Pringles deal as a filler and there were Christmas decoration cans of Pringles on the shelf. Left over from this past Christmas but don't expire until 2013! Interestingly, the $1 +Up is good until August.

Easter candies are 75% in my store. In the other store CS said they got a notice to put the 75% off for candies. so I think this should be applicable to all RA. check your store.

actually, there will be a good deal of boxed candy, small trinket stuff for Mothers Day.

I bought 4 Reese's PB eggs thinking they'd be $0.50 ea but later saw that they rang up $0.24 ea. Used $0.50/2 tp and vv. Ended up being a small MM.
Found Oreo Cakesters w/ $0.50 short date peelies. Rang up on sale $1 ea (reg price $1.29) less the $0.50 peelie and the $1/2 vv made them free and each counted as $1 towards the SCR. I've been looking for oreos w/ short date peelies all month and should now have enough for the SCR.

I love Sweet Berry bubble bath, so yeaaaaah for me!

Unbelievably, the Rite Aids here still has Easter Candy. It is now at 75% off, and that bin by the door at my usual location still has a fair amount in it. It is almost all the Palmer/Dairy Good fake chocolate junk, plus marshmallow novelties. And 4 pre-filled and wrapped plastic baskets with cheap toys and candy in them. Only thing I find worth buying were two Snickers eggs, each costs around 19Ę. Still a pile of those mens flannel lounge pants, along with the same items I saw previously. They are remodeling at this one store, the displays have been moved, you can see the dirt on the floor that was underneath, and the whole upper left corner of the store, behind the doorway clearance bin, was curtained off. Does anybody buy and eat that choclatey flavored fake imitation candy?

found 2 more of my favorite-- Skittles in a 18" clear plastic tube w/ plastic bunny at the top

wow!! awesome 75% off clearance on a variety of candy/gum/mints!!

Look for the 50-75% off signs on various products on the candy/gum aisle.

They had:

75% off large tubs of various gum

4 packs of select Stride/Trident/Dentyne

75% off Pouches of mini bite Almond Joy, York Peppermint Pattie and Cookies/Cream Hersheys

75% off Large 3 lb Bag of Farley Mixed candy

75% off some Jolly Ranchers and other types of sour candy.

50-75% off select Sugar Free Russell Stover (the big 10oz bags).

75% off single Packs of select flavors of Tic Tacs (down to .34 a pack)

and more. I just noticed these signs today and the selection was excellent, so I'm guessing this just started. I wiped them out of a couple of things at my store.

So be on the lookout!! I took pics but will upload if/when I have some free time.

MC

Not only are there 'sweet' deals but they produce the +Up. The Trident gum 6 packs regularly $2.99. Got 2 and got the $1 +Up.
Dunkin Donuts dark roast coffee 50% off. Reg price $10.29, got 2 for $10.28, paid w/ $10 +Up and got back 2 $2 +Up. I've got waaaay too many $10 +Up so this is a great deal for me. There are $1/1 Dunkin Donut coffee coupons in 4-1 RP.

Recently I've been getting the single Nature Valley granola bars as a filler. Under the register counter w/ the candy bars. They're 75% off. Makes them $0.19-- cheaper than a chocolate covered cherry.

my4mainecoons said:   Recently I've been getting the single Nature Valley granola bars as a filler. Under the register counter w/ the candy bars. They're 75% off. Makes them $0.19-- cheaper than a chocolate covered cherry.Airheads are 75% off = $0.05

Do stores "manually" change the prices on these reported 75% off etc. stocked items (not seasonal, holiday) or does this price change take place from corporate? I was at one store and saw the DD coffee with the yellow 1/2 off tag as I walked down that aisle but at another store there was no tag. I was in a hurry or I would have asked for a price check just to determine if the price is valid even if a particular store has not gotten around to adding the signs yet.

The DD Dark Roast is a corporate markdown. The green stickers on clearance items may/may not be store specific. If you'd had the coffee scanned it should have been 50% off even if the tags weren't up. Remember, its just the dark roast and I only found one store in my area that even had a place for it

The remodeling was mostly done at the store I usually go to. The Easter Candy was finally gone, as is the clearance bin by the door. Previously when at this store, 2 weeks ago, I bought HP DVD's pack of 24 for $4.99, and a Post-Its holder with Post-Its for $1.49.The area that was previously curtained off, is now a greeting card corner display. They also have ribbons, wrappings gift bags & tags, etc. there.

The aisles have 4 cardboard clearance bins, and there are two more along the front near the register. Each time I go, there is new stuff in the bins, with green clearance stickers on them. A lot of the big bottles of Pantene hair care, many were the Ice Shine products. Hair accessories galore were available, barrettes, headbands, brushes, combs. The stuff is already tagged, and is at least 50% off, but some items are as much as 75%. There were some candy items, Not all the kind MISTERCHEAP mentioned. The packages were in one of the bins, stuff I don't eat like gummies and hard candy. I picked up a giant bar of Lindt White Chocolate for a $1.49, it was $2.99 originally. It was the only one there. Also several varieties of canned dog food and cat food. Dog food was Pedigree, cat food was Friskies. Grabbed a few of the Friskies. There was a single box of 12 Meow Mix gourmet food cups for 50% off, which I grabbed for my kitty being they are all seafood/fish assortments. I suspect when I return in two weeks, the bins will have lot's of new stuff in them.

Picked up some chocolate today.
Ferraro Rocher 15 pc box either 3 color or all gold. Reg price $8.99, sale price $2.24. Don't know who will be getting this but its a nice gift.
Pretzel M&M in big "party sized" stand up bag, 30 oz. Reg. $11.99, sale price $2.99. Office staff will like 'em.
3 Musketeers Truffle Light (?) bars regular $0.99, $0.24 ea. I've got too many +Up so I bought what was left in the box after I was done using them as fillers. Something else to bring to the office.
Mr. Goodbar extra large, reg. $2.19, $0.54.

More goodies today.

A bunch of candy items at 50% and 75% off in the candy aisle. They had bags of Trolli gummies and gummy sours, starlight mints, coconut and dark chocolate M&M's bags, and more. I didn't buy any, but there was a nice selection and the 75% off stuff is a steal, if you like gummies and hard candy. Pretty much the stuff was what Mr Cheap listed, so it looks like many of you will still be able to find stuff.

The clearance stuff in the cardboard bins is now reduced to 2, one with everything a $1, and one everything $2. I went on a savings spree. PNY mini attache 4 GB drives with included fastening clips for $2 (originally $19.98, kinds overpriced, they were previously in the 50% off bin for $9.99). I bought all 5 off them. Digital picture album key-chain with USB cable $2 (Was $28.99, previously in 50% off bin for $14.49), Mundial quilting/sewing scissotrs set w/pink handles in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. These were $33, then reduced to $9.99, then down to $2. They have a lifetime warranty. Lot's of Conair products, like a nice boar bristle hair brush with wood handle for $2, was $19.99 originally, then at 50% off. Lot's of hair clips, barrettes, jeweled bobby pins for $1, each package was $4.99 to $5.99 then was 50% off. Calgon $10 body spray for $1, Nutragena Rainbath shower gel, big bottle that was $10, now only $1. And so much more.

Found puppy pads reduced from $11.49 to $2, for my sis's Pomi, 2 packs of 28 pads. And a bag of 3 bacon-stuffed rawhide bones for the Dingo, plus chicken biscuits for a #1 for both. Laser cat toy including batteries for $2 (Was $9.99, then at 50% off at $5.99). I haven't been to the other Rite Aid, they only just started remodeling, while this store is finished.

My store still has dozens of the men's flannel jammies. If you use Burts Bees GUD products, there were tubs and tubes of this usually expensive stuff reduced to $1. $12.99 jars of Simple Day Cream spf 15 reduced to $2. Also boxes and boxes of Angry Birds fruit snacks, they were either 50% or 75% off, can't recall.

I was told by an employee that the stuff reduced are all products that are being discontinued by Rite Aid and now longer carried at any of their stores, so look for the white cardboard bins showing up at your store, and check aisles too, as some items are (like candy) in the aisles. And there may be more, so keep coming back. I hit this store every 2 weeks, and the merchandise on closeout keeps changing. To sweeten my deal, I used $15 in +UPS to pay, and earned some too!

I spent $43, but came home with well over $150 worth of merchandise. I really need to check the other Rite Aid, they only just started remodeling and clearing out stuff recently.

If you got Burts Bees don't forget there's a SCR this month.

While the candy clearance is in all stores, I wonder if your store is becoming a Wellness store. Stores undergoing remodel clear out tons of stuff.

75% off AIRWICK at RA
Disclaimer
NICE NICE DEAL on AIRWICK Air Fresheners! .42 ea a/75% off, plus any coupons you have.

I found Clairol Natural Instincts 75% off. They were 2.49 in my store. I had some $5/2 coupons to make the deal sweeter.

They were in the $2 bin at my store, plus the foam color. Some lady was looking through her coupons to use on them. I looked, but none of the shades were what I'd use.

I had to look up "Wellness" store. I went there today, and guess what? The store is having it's grand re-opening, as a (you guessed it) Rite Aid Wellness Center. There were a lot of specials just for the re-opening (Buy 1 get 1 free on Rite Aid and Pharmassure vitamins and supplements). The clearance bins were gone, what's left is on the clearance rack at the back of the store, by the emergency exit door. They still haven't gotten rid of those men's plaid flannel lounge pants.

I didn't check my receipt right away from my last trip, but remember the cashier saying I had a lot of coupons. I actually had 4 +UPs, though only one (Hershey/Reese candy $1) was expected. Turns out that there is a $4 +UP on PNY/Sandisk 4 GB memory cards and flash drives ($4 maximum of 2). The +UPs worked on my closeout purchase ones. So, I bought 5 drives, each for $2, got back $8 in +UPs, so it cost only $2 for 5 4gb drives. Also bought Fashion Hair Accessories, for a $1, and got a +UP for $1, making that free. I now need to go to the other Rite Aid, they are supposedly remodeling that store too. It has been hard to get to that shopping center due to major construction that has resulted in detours and road closings. Some of the businesses actually closed as a result of the road work. But it will be better in the future when the work is done. My sister shops at that store, because it's next to the Indian food store where she gets her Curry, DAL, NAN, etc. I think I will go there next week and see what deals they have there. Still had a fair amount of candy closeouts at my usual store. The Angry Birds fruit snacks were all gone, but starlight mints and Trolli gummies were still available. And Jelly Belly Sours.

Be on the lookout for clearanced push pins and tacks in the lightbulb aisle. Some are 75% off and have a $1 UP for the month for a small moneymaker. They also have 75% off 100 watt lightbulbs if you want to stock up on the soon to be banned product.

Any idea on the limit for the monthly $1 +UP for buying clearanced push pins?

Faucet Queen is alive and well but fewer items this month. Limit 4 +Up per card.
Buddha is not one of the chosen this month. Rang up 75% off but no +Up. Thumbtacks and screws are still clearance priced and producing $1 +Up.
Small "utility box" that looks like a little tool box, reg price $8.49 clearance priced 50-75% off does produce $4 +Up.
I haven't seen it personally but there's also a hand held shower attachment reg price $6.49 on clearance which produces $4 +Up.
