RITE AID 5/13-19 +Ups/SCRs/Deals and Scenarios/ Ad Scan (link now in QS)

I was late to the party and didn't get to Rite Aid until 2 pm pacific time. It seems the Schick +UP is now fixed. I bought four Hydro 5 refills in one transaction, got a $10 +UP that says Playtex Fem Shave Sun Care (exp. 6/19), and also $10 tracking at the bottom of my receipt.

I got the $4 Hydro Silk coupons in my 2 delivery papers, but OOS already. Will try and hunt those 2 down at another store. Then get six more Hydro5 refills to max out the deal. Plenty of stock for the hydro 5 refills as of right now anyway.

My main store also just installed a catalina machine. So I got an extra $1 off Rite Aid Register Reward coupon from Visine. Ended up being a $2.77 MM. Just like Walgreens the register reward expires in exactly 2 weeks from the date of purchase.

Yes, I actually got 2 cats. One was the actual $1 coupon and the other was an advertisement explaining the deal. I just bought one because I forgot some of my +UPs at home and I'm not worried about stock issues for the Visine. I just need to make sure now I buy the other visine at this store. from the Vanilla visa experience we know they can fix things by Sunday afternoon. There was enough time on Friday for folks in SoCal to complain and let RA IT know they had to work this weekend.

Did this twice, two bags on two transactions..but on the 2nd didn't get all the ups, so I returned them. Got all ok on the 1st order ($6 total in ups)Unless I misunderstood something, I think the idea is to do 2 transactions of 1 bag each. You won't get the monthly +Up starting with the 3rd bag. Or use a different card .

ahhh. guess I misread it. yes, that's what I wound up doing for the 2nd order...used a different card after the 2nd order on the first card got messed up.

Where do you find the monthly ups? I did this deal today and none of the UPs showed up - they issued me the 2.00 on a gift card - 1.00 each bag - but I dont know where to find the monthly UP of 2$ so I can get that money refunded as well. Thanks for any help

That happened to me once also.

I don't understand why RA doesn't set up their system for the individual stores to print out UPs that did not generate. That is one great thing about CVS, they issue the ups for you on a deal if they don't print...no calling up c/s, waiting for weeks to get rewards that are due you. Even at Wags, I've had managers issue me store credit when RR's don't print properly. Why do they make simple things so difficult? They really need to improve the service to customers for their own failings with the ups system.

Every transaction is rounded off to the nearest dollar.

In the past these razors were priced at $11.99, making the gold price $9.59.. So buying 1 at a time, in 3 seperate transactions would get the +UP at $30. ($9.59 would round up to $10 each time, but 3x $9.59 = $28.77 would round to only $29 when done in a single transaction).

I believe the above example is now a moot point because atleast in my area the prices have gone up. Not sure if anyone else around the country can still get these for $9.59 with the gold discount. If anyone can, it would be advantageous to buy them one at a time.
uggh. Wasn't paying attention. Picked the Schick Hydro 5 manual razor cuz it had the $9.99 sale tag on it. Rang up at $8.63! So now I have to get an extra razor to reach $30.

I picked up 1 Schick hydro shave gel vs another razor on sale for $2/4 to get the $10 +Up.

No pistashios to be found in 2 stores for me. Couldn't use the $3/2 along with the B1G1 Pantene cashier is coupon nazi. For those 2 negatives one positive note, I have a local RA that accepts expired +Ups so no complaining from me.

I screwed up and bought the 8oz. I was rushing and was not paying real close attention. I just saw the $4.99 price and figured I got the right item. Live and learn.

1) am assuming you bought these razors in multiple transactions ? is that true ? if yes then tell them that you purchased several schick products, worth about $30, none of them were tracked and that you did not receive the expected bucks.

2) they dont need the exact details of your purchase. So dont volunteer any pricing information. Let them figure it out. They will ask for MOST recent transaction but be prepared in case they do ask for previous transactions.

Yes you are correct though that if your were purchases were tracked you would have gotten the $10 UP. The rep you got on the chat obviously was doing his/her best to find an excuse as to why your purchases were not qualified.

For those w/o the $4 Silk Hydro coupons, I found $3/1 Silk Hydro razor or refill tp in my supermarket today. Says "can be used at Shaw's" at the bottom but its a manufacturer coupon that starts w/ 5. Not as good a MM but free razors:
$9.99 x 3 - $21 in coupons = $8.97 + tax and get $10 +Up

I bought 3 razors refill for $29.97 and the $10 up didn't print, this is 2 hours ago. I had to buy one more hydro shaving cream to get the $10 up printed.
Looks like with all this chaos happening on the $10 UP, they are not rounding it anymore. I'm not sure it happened only for me or anyone else experienced the same.

Deal = pay $2.23 for 2, but you bought 4 for $2.54 w/ tax????
