If you have a Chase Freedom card, you get 5% back on all grocery purchases this month so this is a great way to get 5% back on gas in a quarter when the credit cards are not offering it. Also, Shell stations in my area charge 10c more for credit, so this way you get the cash price while effectively paying with your credit card.

I will have to print more Muellers coupons. Since it's free, I don't care that their package is only 12 ounces instead of 16.
keep in mind Bill....
this may not be a catalina print out. it may be a $10 off next order tied to your club card which will come off next week when you scan it. SR has done this in the past, so before you buy 2 GC's at $100, check into how you get your $10/50 bonus.

The wording on the coupon says one coupon per customer per day, so using more than one per day may be YMMV. My store never cares about these things. I wish it was valid this week since there is stuff I want to buy.. maybe I'll try to use it later in the week. Worst case it doesn't work.

The fine print of the Mueller's coupon says no doubling. Since it was an internet coupon, they called over the manager. The manager approved the coupon but told the cashier not to double it. Generally they've scanned it and it doubled with no issue.

I have had problems with some Internet coupons not doubling, and when I check the fine print it does say DND and they won't fix it.
BTW this Mueller's coupon did not double at A&P when I tried to use it there.

I believe Discover card is also running the same 5% back on all grocery purchases this month as well, up to $300.
Just out of curiosity, I assume buying ShopRite giftcards count towards the 5% Discover CashBack. Being single, I rarely reach $300/month in grocery. It would be nice to using the giftcards and spread my purchases out after the promo is over.

yes...however, some ShopRites do not allow credit cards to be used for GC purchases. Only cash or debit. This is the case at some SR's in the Phila. area.

What gift cards did you buy? Last night I bought 2 BP $25 cards. No Catalina printed. Customer service told me it was only the gift cards on the special display or in the ad. Eventually they printed out a catalina for me.

yeah, bet the catalina was out of paper or something. there have been multiple confirmations on all deal boards of the gas cards working for the OYNO coupon.

Bought more and the catalina printed. It would be really nice if the Catalina system printed a message on your receipt when a coupon printed (or was supposed to be printed) so you'd know if you missed something. But as I understand it, they are not tied into the register system in a way that they can do that. At one point I suggested to them that they print a small message on the coupon printer for each transaction, but they did not like that idea. Of course, now that the print ads as well as coupons it may be more reasonable.

Just noticed a deal on Jello Temptations posted on SD. There's a 90c/1 coupon on coupons.com. It's on sale for $2.50 and there's a $3 Catalina WYB 4. Comes out to $2.80 for 4 and you get $3 back.
If your store does not double 90c coupons (or you only have 1 PC) there is a $1.10/1 as well but obviously it will not double.
BTW the $10 OYNO for the gift cards apparently can be redeemed this week so long as you have a $15 order to begin with.

I just wanted to pass on some info regarding my ShopRite Gift Card purchase last night. Earlier in the week, I stopped by the customer service desk to confirm that I could purchase a SR gift card with my Discover Card. Last night, the clerk on duty stated that gift card purchases can only be done with cash or debit cards. After discussing with her my conversation with them earlier in the week, she said I was correct. Apparently, ShopRite gift cards can be purchased with a credit card. The non-ShopRite gift cards are the ones with the cash/debit cards requirement.

The one I go to takes credit cards for all gift cards. It probably depends on whether the store has been burned by the purchase of gift cards with bad credit cards.
