I got a $15 off Physicians Formula skin care on the kiosk today. It expires 6/27. Combined with the B1G1F, gas deal and a manufacturers coupon or two, could be worth buying.

I got a $5/20 on the coupon machine today for my wife's card, so I decided to do the gas card deal. I already had the $15 Physicians Formula skincare on that card, which is on the gas card deal. Bought 2 $20.99 items, used the $15 off, $5/20 (which beeped because the cashier scanned the $15 coupon first even though I tried to get him to do the $5 first), and a $3 PF peel-off (I did not try a second because it beeped when I did a similar deal a few weeks ago). I bought 3 Palmolive dish detergent, which are 99c and part of the gas deal and it came out to $1.05 including tax. I'm $6 from the gas card and will buy 2 Herbal Essence shampoos which are B1G1 50% off and part of the gas deal. I'll use the $2 off shampoo coupon I got on the machine today (and hopefully will get another when I scan tomorrow) and a $1/2 MC to make it either $1 or $3 after coupons.

There is a $5 off $20 or higher coupon in the (West County Times in NO CA) morning paper effective today through June 30.

is there an online edition link to use/print out?

I used the second of my $15 PF coupons and $5/20 yesterday. This time I had the cashier scan the $5/20 first and the $15 beeped. Fortunately, the friendly assistant manager overrode it. I wonder if there is something in how the $15 coupon is coded that causes problems when using it with $x/x coupons? I got 2 PF, 3 Palmolive, 2 Herbal Essence shampoo and the Bayer Advanced aspirin. With all of the coupons (including the $3 CVS and $3 manufacturer for Bayer) I ended up paying under $2, which was all sales tax. And I got the gas gift card with $29.94 of qualifying purchases.

Okay let me share my scenario here. (Mr. C, I would appreciate your comments on how I did and other legendary members)

For this you may need few things right.

Right now in CVS there is $10 gas card for selected items. Physician Formula Cosmetics is one of them. They are also Buy 1, Get 1 50% off. I assume that most of the members have been used the Try me Free rebates on Physician Formula Cosmetics. These wont be useful if you buy 2 (Try Me Free) products on 1 receipt since you can club 2 of those Try-Me-Free and mail for rebate on 1 item if you buy 2 together. Anyways back to the topic.

There is a new rebate on Physician Formula "Youthful Wear" products Rebate Form

To summarize:
Buy 1 Get $5
Buy 2 Get $10
Buy 3 Get $25
On Youthful wear products only.

My scenario was : You may need multiple things and prices from CVS site + Different Get upto $25Peelie. You may need 3 peelies for 3 items)

Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Cosmeceutical Foundation + Brush Fair = $14.99
Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Cosmeceutical Youth-Boosting Powder, Translucent @ 50% of $13.99 = $6.49
Physicians Formula Youthful Wear 3-in-1 Cosmeceutical Concealer Light = $12.99

Coupons used $3 peelie on Powder
$5 off 20 in purchase
and $3 off 10 in cosmetics
(Plus any EB or Physician Formula Cosmetics coupon you have)

Total = Approx 24.50 + taxes = Around $28 (in my case) + $10 gas card + Get the $25 rebate (hopefully ) = $7 MM finally considering the gas card

On a different note I tried to use a printed one and the cashier refuse.

pretty good! obviously if you can find three peelies x $3 ea, that's a great way to max out. Also, how did you get up to $30? I only see $25ish pre tx listed, you had to buy another $5 of stuff to qualify for the free gas card you listed. (or did it count the pre 50% off amount of your PF make up?)

14.99 + 6.49 + 12.99 > $30. I had other coupons to reduce my total. You may find 1 peelie on 1 product. Buy 3 of those and you can work out alternate scenarios.

OK, I see my mistake, I was looking at the POST coupon total. I see you have $34+ above that.

Nice deal! might have to try this myself, if I can find the rebate peelies. Only problem is, they are pretty new, so finding stock could be a challenge.

Yup and that's why I shop at CVS more often. My Rite Aid store doesn't count coupons present for the total for up reward. I wish they could change that and they would have more of my business. Its still money for them but explaining the idea and their weird policy is a pain.

Are you claiming that RA deducts manufacturers coupons when calculating your purchase for generating an +Up? I don't think that is true. I do know that they deduct them from the total point count.

I will have to see if I have any $3 coupons.. I had to use a $2 coupon this week because I could not find $3. But I might have some lying around. I do not have the $5/20 on my card that has not done the gas card deal.

I thought that didn't count. They had the Schick deal sometimes back. It was to spend 25 and get 10 in UP rewards. I had a BOGO coupon up to 12.99 and still when buying 2 of these they only counted towards 12.99 and not 25. I remember the cashier explaining why I never got the UP.

Bill,

I'm referring to these NEW rebate peelies (buy 3/get $25). I've yet to see them, have you? I've already done most of the other PF rebates on the youth stuff. so I want to be sure those peelies are actually in my stores before buying them.

That I do not know. Sorry! Also found it in the SF Chronicle yesterday as well, though if that helps.

I got a $1/2 Herbal Essence or Aussie shampoo coupon on all of our cards today. Goes nicely with the $2 shampoo and $1/2 manufacturer coupon to give you free shampoo thru Saturday. Conveniently, I had to buy 2 of them anyway to finish my gas card deal!

Thats nice. I used mine to buy 2 pantene shampoo @ 6.97. Used 2 of $2 CVS coupon and $3/2 pantene coupon....Less than 50 cents for 2 bottle

The Organix Buy $10 get $5 deal is not limit one as the ad (and shelf tag) says. In fact, at $30 worth it still hasn't said that it is maxed out. The first $10 is not a great deal since the shampoos are $7-8 each. But once you do the first two, you only need to buy another 2 to get the next $10, and if you have the $2 shampoo/conditioner coupons, they're only $1-2 each after coupon and ECB.

The Physicians Formula Youthful Weal may be better next week with $7 off each item. It's on the gas card deal then as well.
