The free coupon actually reads "Buy one Gillette System Razor or Gillette Disposable". Hopefully the store does not try to claim that it does not include Venus or Fusion.

Also, will both coupons definitely scan at RA? Can someone please post if it works for you? Thanks.

Does anyone know how you get the monthly +UPs? Are they posted anywhere online? Do I have to purchase all at once?

Finish Dishwashing get $3 +up wyb $10 (limit ?)

Hi,

hope some of you who have experienced the load to card UPs can answer some of my questions:

1) Let's say you buy items that have UPs as part of their offer. Is it stated on the receipt how many ups you've earned, which products (and specific up $ amount) you earned them for if you bought more than one qualifying ups items on a receipt? Does it say it's loaded on your card and when they expire?

2) When you go to redeem up's is it automatic or do you have to tell the cashier you want to use your ups? do you have the option to NOT use your ups (lets say you are buying something for a rebate and don't want up's to show on the receipt)

2a) Do ups' only get redeemed in full $ amounts like before? Do you have to spend the full up earned like before or can just spend it down like a gift card credit?

i.e, you earned a $4 up for Gillette Razors.

next day you buy $3.50 in candy, will $3.50 come off or do you still have to spend the full $4 or more pretax?

If there's somewhere that has all these types of questions answered, a link would be appreciated.

Just trying to get a feel what to expect when I do my first few load 2 card orders. thanks in advance for the help!

there's no published list of monthly +Up. People find the shelf tags. Some folks are lucky and see the set of tags before they're posted and take a picture of the sheet, then post the list.

If an item is buy # get +Up (ie buy 3 get +Up) then you have to buy all 3 at once.
If the deal is "spend $xx get +Up" ( ie the Finish deal) it will track on your card and you don't have to buy it all at once. So you can buy 1 in one store and 1 in another, etc.

I've opted out but here's what I know.
If you give cashier your Wellness card at the beginning of the transaction your +Up will automatically be deducted so if you get to the end and have manufacturer coupons to use and your total has gone too low to use them then you can't use them! Moral of the story: make your purchases, hand over your manufacturer coupons then your Wellness card last. That way your mq's will be deducted before any +Up.

1) Your +Up are listed on the bottom of your receipt. It doesn't tell you the qualifying products just like the paper +Up don't tell you what qualified, it just tells you who its from, ie P&G. Yes, expiration is listed.
2) Yes, they only get applied in full amounts, it is not like a gift card. You have to spend the full amt. If you get the $4 Gillette you have to spend $4 pre-tax for it to be applied.

Not aware of somewhere that has this listed-- maybe the RA website?

ETA: +Up loaded to your card can't be used until 6AM the next day vs. paper +Up can be manually entered for use the same day -- if you have a willing cashier. See my post in last week's thread.

I opted out too and am getting the paper +UPs. I feel like I have more control over them that way. I am afraid my +UPs could get "lost in cyberspace" if they were virtual. I must admit I am not shopping as much as I used to at Rite Aid. Mostly due to the lack of good deals.

how do you opt out? is it one time process or do you have to opt out EACH shopping trip?

MISTERCHEAP said:

how do you opt out? is it one time process or do you have to opt out EACH shopping trip?

There are three ways to opt out:

1. Call 1-800-RITE AID and you can do it over the phone.
2. Request it during a live chat with customer service.
3. In the store, tell a cashier you wish to opt out.

You only have to opt out once. To be honest with you, I think they should have had us opt in for this program rather than making us take the initiative to opt out.

If you did opt in and you don't want to use any particular +UPs on a certain shopping trip, I think you can go online and there is a setting that you can de-select the +UPs until you want to use them, but remember they are only valid for 14 days.

If you have any questions, check out their Load2Card +UP FAQs: http://riteportal.com/documents/l2c_faq.pdf

thnx Maine and Mr. V for your replies.

No good on the finish $3 +up
Bought the tablets and rinse in two seperate transactions and didn't get anything. Total was over $12. Really pisses me off. Should I call corporate?

= 2 FREE + MM!

Just wanted to mention that this deal worked fine for me. The Mach3 rang up at $8.99 for me since I have a 10% off card and $9.99 was the regular price. However, the B1G1F coupon automatically took $8.99 off . At least I saved sales tax on a dollar. The register printed 2 $4 +Ups.

MISTERCHEAP said:    how do you opt out? is it one time process or do you have to opt out EACH shopping trip?
Its a one time process and really easy. I've talked 2 AM's and a regular cashier (different stores) through it.

Here's what you tell the cashier if they don't know how to do it:
1. Press the "shift + esc" on the register keypad.
2. Click on the "Start" button in the lower left hand corner of the screen.
3. Select "+Ups option" from the Start menu.
4. Scan the customer's Wellness card and press Submit. The next screen shows the current option.

Until this week the current option for +Up was "print to paper" (or something like that). Now the default is "load to card". What the cashier is doing is changing from the new default back to what it was, ie back to paper.

Cashier should press the button next to the preferred "delivery option" ie paper vs. load to card, then hit Submit.

After its done all the folks I've talked through it have said "is that it?"

Its really easy. I've had them do it then made my purchases. Poof. Paper +Up immediately.

Did you get the refillable or disposable Mach 3. What did you get as your "Gillette System"?

stomie said:   my4mainecoons said:   stomie said:   Does anyone know how you get the monthly +UPs? Are they posted anywhere online? Do I have to purchase all at once?

Finish Dishwashing get $3 +up wyb $10 (limit ?)

there's no published list of monthly +Up.

No good on the finish $3 +up
Bought the tablets and rinse in two seperate transactions and didn't get anything. Total was over $12. Really pisses me off. Should I call corporate?

yes-- call RA CS - Wellness or do online chat.

MrVietnam said:   I opted out too and am getting the paper +UPs. I feel like I have more control over them that way. I am afraid my +UPs could get "lost in cyberspace" if they were virtual. I must admit I am not shopping as much as I used to at Rite Aid. Mostly due to the lack of good deals.
IMO last week was a great week! Scored 4 more Lichi on Monday ($13 MM for ea pair), did Physicians Formula for at least $10 MM on "opted out" cards; Nicorette, ReNu, PoliGrip, Samy & Revlon were all MM, summer stuff's on clearance so picked up a couple of "quad chairs" for $2.75 ea and Fancy Feast came out to $0.38/can. Several freebies: Similisan, SaniHands, Colgate, Oral B toothbrushes, Sunsweet Plum Juice and $0.15 for 2 pairs of NoNonsense. This week pales in comparison.

Got the refillable Mach 3 and Venus Embrace as the System. Was going to get the Venus Olay but you only get one blade so I got a different variety. There might have been a 2 blade package, since there was an empty slot next to it marked $11.99

After you posted I checked my ad. I don't see a Finish deal this week. Checked a store today. No shelf tag. Did your store have an old tag up? If that's the case then just return the stuff and tell them how it was their fault!

I got the Venus Olay kit & Mach 3. Have tracking towards the month-long P&G +Up on the bottom of my receipt. Venus razors count towards the current P&G MIR.

The back to school dorm things went 50% off. I got the accessory boxes (looks like shoe boxes to me) for $1.49 each and they have a rebate on them. Rebate #65, $5 for buying 2, limit 3 rebates. People also say that the duck mailers that are $1.49 regular price are counting for the new rebate again $3/2. The accessory boxes are great for the Operation Christmas Child that is coming up real soon. They also have laundry baskets or other plastic things included that are also 50% off.

They aren't the bubble, more of a padded. They are brown kraft paper stuffed with something like lint. Just lines on the front and says caremail rugged mailer on the back. Only mention of duck is the web addy in very small print on the bottom of the backside. They are heavier than the padded, added a few cents in postage to mail a similar item versus the bubble, but they were free so I'm not complaining. UPC is 075353115411.

I went to Rite Aid to buy some Pepsi as I saw 2 liters in their ad this week $1 each and you get a $3 +UP wyb $10 worth and on the door of the Rite Aid I saw a big sign stating:

NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
for temporary associates in case of a work stoppage

I guess the employees at Rite Aid are considering striking.

I sure was glad I went to Rite Aid today to get those 10 bottles of 2-liter Pepsi products (more specifically 7 2-liter bottles of Diet Pepsi and 3 2-liter bottles of Pepsi Max) because instead of getting one $3 +UP back, on my receipt printed TWO $3 +UPs, making my Pepsi only 59 cents after CRV, sales tax and +UPs back. What a deal.

On one of the $3 +UPs it said "from the purchase of AQUAFINA OR GATORADE" and on the other $3 +UP it said from the purchase of "GATORADE OR DR PEPPER."

EDIT: I just read on SD that one of the +UPs is for the weekly deal and the other +UP is for the monthly deal. It looks like the weekly deal is limit 2. Does anyone know what the limit on the monthly deal is? It was such a good deal I am thinking about doing it again on my card. It isn't everyday you can get name brand soda this cheap.

was there a deal-related reason you didn't get 10 Diet Pepsi or was it preference/stock, etc?

Patting myself on the back for not shelf clearing these last week when they were $0.29/pack. Being a "considerate coupon-er" I left some for others. Little did I know that I would be the one buying them this week
This week I took all 4 that I'd left. Figured that if no one bought them in the past week they were meant for me.
Happily, these count as clothing here so no sales tax on them.

Florasense stick incense (punk) $1.49 ea (1.19 gold), buy 2 for $2.38 get $3 +Up
Tea lights/candles, box of 8 $1.99 ea ($1.59 gold), buy 2 for $3.18 get $3 +Up. Make sure you get the box of 8 not the box of 10. Box of 10 counts towards the "spend $10 get $3 +Up, not the B2 get $3 +Up. Have only found one pair of boxes of 8 per store.
These deals are monthly but since the incense is a MM many stores have already been cleared out.

stock reason only -- I would have preferred to get all 10 Diet Pepsi, but they only had 7 in stock, so I wanted another no calorie drink so I got Pepsi Max.

thanks. I've been reading about folks doing this getting 10 GatorAde or 10 Mtn Dew. Completely forgot about Pepsi. If you go for the GatorAde don't get blue or purple; only the red, orange and yellow flavors are programmed for the double dip.

Limit on the deal is 2. If you have a "fresh" card you can get 20 at one time (store stock being the limiting factor of course) and get 2 $3 weekly +Up and 2 $3 monthly +Up.

It was very weird today going to Rite Aid and having the checker tell me my total was 51¢. The +UP's I had nearly paid for everything, not that I'm complaining or anything...

BriaryCliffs. Thanks for the post.
Did the rebate clear for you? I bought one accessory box like you mentioned and other one 2 tray nic nac box. I paid $1.49 + $3.49
Hoping it will clear for $5. I'm only concerned about accessory box as it was not pictured but their is a mention of "living accessory box" in the rebate, I'm not sure they are the same.

I purchased 18 accessory boxes this week and they cleared for $15 on each of 3 SCR accts

Could not find any of the accessory boxes. I did get lucky and find 1 store with 2 $1.99 socks and 2 $2.49 socks. Bought them and got $5 +Ups. I had bought 1 $1.99 at a previous store hoping I'd find one at another store, and then I'd return it and rebuy with the second. I'm going back to one more store after dinner to see if I get lucky.

Update: no luck at the other store so I just returned the item I had.

It seems like each store has 2 of the mailers. One store I went to had one that was torn open, so I got the manager to agree to discount it 50% to 75c. Sadly, the cashier had to use a calculator to figure out how much to deduct.

I noticed that the +Ups now expire exactly 2 weeks after you get them. I thought they had been 2 weeks + 1 day when they switched to this new fiasco. That means you no longer get a chance to shop an extra week of sales if you buy on Saturday.
